Third Person Pov
Betty was a baker, one of the best in the town. However, as the Holiday season approached, she was always at the bakery making something, meaning Jughead didn't get to see her as much as he wanted, so any chance he could, he went and surprised her.
"Knock knock." Jughead said as he came into the bakery.
Betty was putting cookies into the oven. Once she had the timer set, she turned around giving him a huge smile.
"What are you doing here?" She asked putting her oven mits down.
"I had a break from writing, and you needed some lunch because we all know you don't eat on busy days." Jughead smiled.
"Thank you." She said softly.
He gave her a huge hug kissing her forehead.
"Mind if I eat with you?" He asked.
"Not at all." She smiled.
They both cleared a space at her table, then Jughead unloaded the food. They both started eating.
"What is today's order?" Jughead asked.
"Christmas cookies and cupcakes. Cupcakes are done and cooling, cookies are baking, I'll be here all-night decorating because the lady needs them by tomorrow morning at 8." Betty said.
"Oh gosh. Anything I can help with?" Jughead asked.
"I love you, don't get me wrong, but you can't bake to save your life." Betty smirked.
Jughead let out a gasp making her giggle.
"How dare you believe in such a lie." He laughed.
"And you have work." She spoke.
"That I do, but I'm done at the office. I was going to head home and write, but I could always do it in your office and keep you company." He said.
"You sure?" She asked.
"If you bring me cookies and cupcakes to taste." He smiled.
"Fine." She giggled.
Once they finished eating, he went to her office. She got cookies out of the oven, then put more in. After awhile of decorating cupcakes and pulling cupcakes in and out of the oven Jughead came out. He had a look on his face letting Betty know he was up to no good.
"Don't you bake with music?" He asked.
"When I'm not dying of stress." She said.
He turned on her music, then grabbed her hands making her giggle. The two danced around the kitchen. One grinning like crazy and one bursting with giggles.
"You are gorgeous." He smiled.
"Your very handsome." She giggled.
The two danced and sang there hearts out as Betty decorated, making everything more fun, and time go by faster. When she got to the end of the cookies of decorating late that night Jughead was getting bored, and when he got bored it was never good.
"Hey." He smiled.
"What?" She said.
He came over to her with a handful of flour. He splashed it in her face making her burst in giggles again.
"Jughead." She laughed.
"You needed some more flour to add to the tiny bit on your forehead." He smiled.
"I'm going to get you back, you just wait." She said.
"Ooh I bet!" He laughed.
She finished decorating, but as she was cleaning herself and the kitchen up, she went over to Jughead. He looked at her, she dumped a container of flour on his head making him groan.
"You only enjoy it when you do it to other people don't you?" She asked smiling.
"Exactly, now I have to wash all this out of my hair." He said.
"Too bad." She laughed.
He helped her finish cleaning up, then they got their stuff together. When they walked outside it was snowing, the first snow of the season.
"Look how perfect." She smiled.
"Just like you." He said grabbing her hand.
"I love you." She said before getting in her car.
"I love you too, see you at home." He smiled.
"See you there." She said.
Sorry for how short this is. Hope you enjoy! Also sorry for no update in such a long time, it's been a busy month and a half
