John talks in his sleep. Sherlock used to love to listen, as John's mumblings were about how brilliant Sherlock was and how much he loved him. When he returned from his death. Sherlock eagerly awaited sitting by John's bedside and hearing him speak. All John does now is beg Sherlock's forgiveness and plead for his father to stop hurting him. Sherlock always holds John's hand when it happens. John has no idea, and Sherlock never reveals it- he will also never stop holding John's hand at night.
