Cassandra paces a little, she and Rebekah are in the living room of the boarding house, she had managed to persuade the original to come back into town, to come back to deal with Klaus for a while. To help. Rebekah holds out a pretty gift bag with a smile, talking about her holiday in Paris. She seems to have enjoyed her time away from Klaus, and it makes Cassandra feel terrible for calling her back.

"Rebekah" She scolds a little and the blonde stops. "I am sure it's a very nice gift...I'm just..."

"Twirled so tight by my brother's machinations" Rebekah finishes and nods, she sets the gift bag on the table. "Completely understandable...." She then leans back in her seat. "Now, you called me back...here I am...."

"I am surprised you agreed to just...come back"

"You explained what has happened, and I agreed that after you saved my life, I do owe you...I enjoyed a very nice romp with a lovely Parisian Pâtisserie" Cassandra snorts with a smile, the two of them share a look. Rebekah sighs and pushes herself to her feet. "I always knew that this wasn't forever" She assures Cassandra. "But you gave me a significant break from my...overbearing brother, the least I could do is save yours" Rebekah then smiles at her. "It has been so long since I have had a friend that I have felt so connected to," Rebekah tells her. "I assume that because I am aware, that means that you are not manipulating that relationship"

"I am not" Cassandra assures her. She genuinely likes Rebekah and she never wanted to have to use her powers to manipulate that relationship. She likes having a true friend outside of Elena. She shares her friends with her sister, and Rebekah is just one that she doesn't. Rebekah is only her friend.

"And helping friends is...the right thing to do" Rebekah adds. "Just tell me what to do, Cassandra" Cassandra lets out a breath and then holds up her hand, a white oak ash dagger manifests with a swirl of red mist.

"I promise if he keeps this in, I will make sure it won't be for very long" Cassandra voices as she moves closer to Rebekah who swallows a little and then nods. Choosing to trust her new friend.

......

Later, Cassandra worries with her hands as she moves to the front of the house. Someone knocks on the door, but she knows who it is going to be. She has already contacted Klaus about Rebekah. It's a start, she knows that he isn't going to be happy until he gets all of the coffins back. But Rebekah will be a start. And she can maybe pull on that favour he still owes her. That might just buy them some more time. She waves her hand and the front door opens before she reaches it, revealing Klaus on the other side.

"Thank you for coming," She tells him. Klaus enters the house, stepping closer to her as she stops.

"I trust you have news of Stefan?" He asks her.

"I couldn't find him" She answers, lying through her teeth but she's hoping that he doesn't see that. "But I have something else"

.....

In the cellar, Cassandra opens the door to the cell where Rebekah lies on the ground, daggered. Klaus lets out a breath as he looks down at his sister. He hums and then shakes his head.

"My poor sister. I can't turn my back on her for a moment" He comments.

"You have Rebekah. A deal is a deal"

"The life of my sister in exchange for your brother?" He asks her and then nods. "Yeah, I'd say that's a bargain. Consider him spared" She lets out a relieved breath. "But" He starts and she gives him a look. He shifts closer to her, boxing her in against the frame of the doorway. "I still need your help finding Stefan"
