When the clock hit 6, JJ got up. "I should send the babysitter home." She said. Emily nodded and she left. When the door closed, they both texted Penelope.

Emily's message was full of relief, how happy she was and hopeful for the future. JJ's on the other hand, she was obviously scared. She was terrified of what might happen with the boys.

She put her phone away when she got in the car and just drove. Penelope added JJ to a call with Emily and Tara.

"Hi my darling blonde!" She said over the speaker. "Hi Pen." She said. They four of them started talking about the last case they had.

They weekly call, girls time as they called it, always randomly happened. Penelope had access to all their schedules so she made it work. While she wished she could leave the call, JJ listened.

Hearing Emily's voice made her stomach hurt. She loved Emily but the boys were the first thing she thought of. She knew what could happen with divorced parents that aren't close.

"I want a girls night." Penelope said. "I'm down. I just don't want to plan." Emily added. Penelope said she would take care of it and JJ pulled up at her house.

She interrupted the conversation to say something. "The babysitters car isn't here." She stated. She took a breathe as Emily told her to stay put. Without thinking she went to her car and got her gun from the glove box.

"Jennifer don't you dare." Emily scolded. She sat in her car until Emily, Luke and Tara pulled up, they were still at the office. By now, JJ had tears falling and was trying to not worry.

"Both of you go inside, she needs someone right now." Emily ordered before running to JJ's car. JJ stared at the two agents run inside her house and she started to pick at her fingertips.

"Jen don't do that." Emily said. She offered her hand and JJ took it. "Squeeze my hand all you want." And JJ did.

When Tara and Luke came out with nothing, JJ cried harder. "I have to call Will." Emily got JJ's phone and dialed his number. She passed it to JJ and JJ took the call.

"Will. I-uh."

"Hi momma." Henry said.

JJ gasped and started to get into the drivers seat, Emily in the passenger seat. "Hi bubs. What are you doing?" She asked. She could hear Michael playing in the background. "Dad picked us up from home and we went to his friends house."

JJ was livid. First Will left, now he took the boys. "What's the friends name? I'm going to come surprise dad, but don't tell him."

She got the name and knew where to go. She stayed on the phone with Henry until she pulled up. She told him to grab Michael and hide in a closet, she didn't want them hearing anything that might happen.

JJ parked the car and got out, gun in hand. Emily physically stopped her and pulled her back. "Emily let me go right now." She stated. "I will not let go." JJ tried to keep going, but failed.

"Look at yourself. If the boys see you storming in, gun in hand, they will be terrified. You can't go in like Agent Jareau. You have to be civil."

JJ took a breathe and looked at Emily. She passed her the gun and walked to the door. Emily stood behind her as JJ held her hand up to knock.

She hit the door and called for Will. When he opened the door she almost hit him. She kept everything inside and used her words.

"Where are my fucking children?" She asked, mostly calm. "I thought they could use a boys weekend." He stated.

JJ pushed past him and called out for Henry. He opened a closet and JJ ran over. She wrapped her arms around both boys and sat for a second. When Will saw Emily he almost flipped.

"What are you doing here?" He asked. "I'm just helping out a friend." Will scoffed, causing JJ to turn around.

"Boys go outside with aunt Emmy. Momma and dad have to talk." They did as told and JJ broke down in tears. "What were you thinking? You took the boys from my house and didn't tell me?" She cried.

"Why should they not see me. I'm their father." JJ got mad and couldn't stay calm. "Because you fucking left them! Last night you walked out and didn't even say goodbye." She yelled.

She turned to leave and he let her go.
