I currently have two options.

I can either play the nice card with him even though he annoys the hell out of me but I'll hopefully be able to get information from him ever since his disappearance from the law firm two years ago or I can play the La Diabla card and put a bullet in between his eyes.

"William." I say, keeping my poker face on. I'm trying so hard not to reach into my purse and grab one of my weapons but my sister's glaring eyes are keeping me from doing anything.

William scans me from head to toe and I immediately want to pluck out his eyes for staring at my cleavage for too long. I clear my throat which makes him peel his eyes away from it and look me in the eye. "How have you been, Bianca?"

"Never been better."

"I see your friend still doesn't like me, Odette." He says, looking at my sister.

"I frankly never did." I respond, walking past him and setting the bag of food on Odette's desk. "As a matter of fact, I barely tolerated you." I grab a takeout container and set it in front of Odette since whatever was inside is what she ordered. "Anyways, what are you even doing here? Odette told me you left the law firm out of nowhere like a year or two ago."

"Well, you see, this specific law firm is actually having me stay in another country while I take care of cases over there and . . ."

I pretended to be paying attention to whatever he's saying while I scanned his body movements. 'You can never be too careful if you decide to study someone's movements just in case they're up to something', is what my papa always told me when he trained me.
