Summary: you are on I'm a celebrity this year, and it's the part of the competition where you get letters from your loved ones! Warnings: bit of swearing, emotional reader, aged up characters, mentions of eating animal parts (from trial), Even though its a paddy imagine there is not much of paddy in this, think that's it. Your POV: You don't know why you signed up for this. So far this whole thing had been a rocky road, and so far 4 of you have already been eliminated.
This year you decided to sign up for 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here', it's been an amazing experience, but it had been a long journey, and it wasn't over yet. You had been paired with amazing people and you knew almost all of them from the start. Like Billy, your boyfriend, Paddy, had worked with him about 7 years ago.
You had done the last trial, you had to eat a bunch of disgusting, dare you say: 'foods', so you could bring home the stars for your camp mates. You ate: •pigs anus •bulls penis •blended fish guts •a dead spider •a vomit fruit
It was all disgusting but you did it for your team. So far in this series you had become close with all of your camp mates, but you and Billy were definitely the closest. In a platonic way, you loved him like a younger brother.
Billy and Amybeth did a challenge to win some letters that were written by your loved ones back home, and they had managed to win all of them, so now, you were all sat by the fire, taking it in turns to read out each other's letters, and open the presents they sent along as well. And currently you were reading Billy's, which was from his best friend back home.
"We are all so proud of you Billy boy, you are totally smashing this! And we are voting for you everyday! We believe in you my man. And I'm not being gay when I say this, but I love you mate" you finished, Billy was really happy with his letter, and the brownie that came alone with it, he offered you a small piece but you passed, it was for him.
"Okay, next is for y/n!" Jade smiled, holding up the last letter, that had your name on it.
"Who do you want to read it mate?" Asked Scott.
"Billy please" you smiled, giggling slightly when the group cheered loudly. Your hands were shaking slightly, you didn't know who this letter was from, but you already knew you were gonna start crying.
"Okay here we go" Billy nodded, opening up the letter gently and handing me a larger package, which you waited to open up later. "It's from Paddy" Billy smiled, and you could already feel the tears welling up in your eyes. Billy noticed and placed his hand on yours before beginning to read.
"My dearest love, y/n. Good start mate" Billy chuckled, making everyone else chuckle too. "I miss you more and more everyday, so does tess. We've all been sitting on the sofa and watching you on the telly and to say we are all proud is an understatement. You are doing so well darling, keep it up my brave girl. I love you - paddy xoxo" Billy finished, and just as you suspected, you cried. Not much, for now.
"I love him too. I love him so much, Aw man, we are so cheesy" you chuckled, wiping the tears from your eyes, before looking down at the package, it felt rather soft underneath.
You gently took the plastic off of it, to reveal your favourite hoody that paddy always wore. And then you lost it again. You held it close to you and it still smelt like him.
"I can't believe I'm crying on the telly. Bet he'll be at home laughing at me when he sees this " you laughed, trying to calm yourself down.
"It's alright love, we're all getting a bit emotional right now. It's okay to let it out." Julia smiled, making the rest of the group nod there head along.
"Y/n once again well done for winning our dinner, and Billy and Amybeth thank you for winning the best gift we could ask for tonight, cheers everyone" Reece smiled, lifting his water, which everyone followed. You loved your little jungle family.
~ "Hello hello hello!!" You heard ant and dec say as they walked in, in the morning. Which could only mean one thing.
"We are here to announce the celebrity going into the next trial 'slithering sit down'.. in no particular order.." Dec nodded. Yup, you called it.
"James...
It's not you" ant nodded.
"Jade...
It's not you." Dec carried on.
"Billy...
It might be you" ant nodded, making all of us nod at him, which he just returned a smile.
"Reece...
It's not you" ant nodded. Making Reece sigh in relief.
"Julia...
It's not you" Dec smiled.
"Amybeth...
It's not you" ant continued. Are you fed up of this yet? - author 🤣
"Beverly...
It's not you" Dec tight lip smiled.
"Scott...
It's not you." Ant sighed.
"Which means y/n, it might be you" Dec smiled sympathetically.
"So Billy and y/n.." ant began, "the person going into tonight's trial is... both of you" he nodded, making both of us sigh. You were scared shitless, but knowing you were with Billy made it a bit easier.
"We are gonna nail this y/n" Billy smiled, holding his fist to you, which you fist bumped him.
"You know it!" You smiled back.
