Next Morning,
                          
Nandini freshened up and went to the kitchen to help Navya, who had already dressed up and was making breakfast for both of them.
                          
"Navya let me help you" Nandini said entering the kitchen. "Thank you Nanz but it's done, here" Navya replied handing her their perfect breakfast, half fried eggs with a cup of steaming frothy coffee. 
                          
"Nandini yesterday" before Navya would have completed, Nandini interrupted saying, "It's a new day right? So just forget about what happened yesterday, just let it go" Nandini smiled at Navya and although, not totally convinced, she smiled back thinking of letting the matter go for now.

"Manik you seem lost, is everything okay beta" asked Raj looking at Manik playing with his food staring at the ceiling.
                          
Coming out of his thoughts, Manik replied," everything is fine dad" 
                          
After a second, Manik stopped Raj and said, "Dad, My friend liked a girl a lot, in fact he..he loved her but then she broke his trust and he broke up with her" 
                          
Raj looked at him raising his eyebrows, "so what do you want me to say?"
                          
"Did he..he do the right thing?",asked Manik. "Of course not Manik, you did wrong" Raj replied while listening to the YOU Manik looked at him stunned.
                          
"Dad it's my friend" Manik replied uncomfortably. "I am your dad Manik" he said with a smile while Manik looked at the floor. 
                          
" Anyway, you were wrong Manik" "Why?", questioned an impatient Manik.
                          
"Do you remember Manik, when you were in school, you had broken your classmate's bottle?"
                          
"Yes dad but how is that related to my question" Manik said confused.
                          
"On that day, your mother and I, instead of punishing you, had asked you for the reason behind your behaviour and it was then that we had got to know that the child whose bottle you had broken had been bullying you since quite a few days because of which you were feeling disturbed. Your anger got accumulated and then finally, when he tried to bully you again you broke his water bottle and warned him to stay away from you" Raj said smiling.
                          
"Yes dad, I remember, but how does this imply that I was wrong" Manik repeated the question that came to his mind.
                          
"Just think Manik, what would have you felt like if on that day, instead of letting you explain your side of the story, we would have punished you" asked Raj and as soon as he uttered those words Manik looked at him with eyes wide opened as realization dawned upon him.
                          
He immediately got up and hugged Raj uttering a quick thank you before running out with his car keys.

Manik reached Nandini's place and saw that the door was ajar. Knocking, he waited for her to respond but since noone responded, he walked inside. 
                          
There, in the living room, he spotted a cupboard with the name Nandini carved on it. Since it was slightly open, he could clearly see the things kept inside. The collection of the little things kept inside confused him. It was then that he heard the noise of cutlery coming from the kitchen and headed towards it.
