summary: sonza has a nightmare
note: heres some hurt/comfort bc im feeling generous. also, check end of chaptet once ur done reading i have questions :]

the house was completely quiet, still. not a peep was heard through the house. y/n stirred quietly in his bed, drenched with sweat and tangled in his sheets. he mumbled something along the lines of 'no' and 'please, stop'. 
                          
y/n whimpered, his face scrunching up. he kicked his legs out, then curled them back in. he sobbed in his sleep, mind full of horrendous nightmares.
                          
he shot up a moment later, gasping as his eyes flew open. he clutched at his chest, heart beating fast. 
                          
he stood up and tugged his blanket over his trembling body, stumbling out into the hallway. he stood in front of his parents door for a moment, before opening it and walking over to the bed.
                          
he poked phil once. "dad." he said softly. no response. he poked him again. "dad, i had a nightmare." 
                          
phil didnt budge. 
                          
y/n sighed and sniffled, moving to the other side of the bed. he poked kristin gently. "mom." 
                          
kristin stirred, her eyes cracking open. "hm? baby, whats wrong?" she reached back and shook philza gently to wake him up.
                          
y/n lost it then, bursting into tears and shaking his head. he tried getting words out but all that came out was choked sobs and wheezing.
                          
phil sat up immediately. "oh bud.." he cooed and helped him crawl into their bed, squished between the two.
                          
kristin settled for humming for a gentle tune, rubbing y/ns upper back while philza did the breathing exercises and talked him through it.
                          
"can you tell me what happened?" phil asked softly. 
                          
"stupid nightmare." y/n whispered. "about.. my dad." 
                          
kristin cooed and stroked y/ns hair gently. "its okay baby, youre safe." she whispered.
                          
philza nodded. "yeah, youre safe with us kiddo. you can sleep in here if youd like." he said softly.
                          
y/n nodded, taking a few more deep breaths as he cuddled in between the two of them. "thank you." he whispered.
                          
phil nodded. "of course buddy." he kissed his sons head. "we're here for you."
                          
y/n nodded and shut his eyes, relaxing bwtween his parents.

one - should i go more in depth with sonzas character? maybe like, where he came from, his past, what got him into the system ect
                          
two - would you guys like another oneshot book? mostly used for dsmp lore characters ships/dynamics bc i have a lot of ideas for that! lemme know!
                          
three - would you like another character like sonza? but for a nonbinary character or female character? give me some ideas for which cc youd like if for! it can be anyone as long as it fits my boundaries
