"okay, guys, before we perform stressed out, i have a special guest that i'd like to bring on stage." i said into my microphone. the crowd went wild as i walked backstage.

"ready, ro?" i asked my three year old daughter who was running towards me. i scooped her up and made my way back to the main stage. (just pretend rosie is three for this fic)

when the crowd noticed rosie in my arms, they cheered. rosie smiled at all the people. she wasn't afraid. she took after me, with not fearing the large amount of people. there had to be thousands of people in the arena we were in.

"hey rosie, these are all my friends. they're gonna be your friends too. can you say hi?" i said into the microphone. everyone cheered as rosie just waved to the crowd. i couldn't help but smile.

"this is my daughter rosie. she's three. this is her first show and i kinda wanted to show her what i do for a living. as far as she's concerned all i do is make her go from state to state every week." i told the crowd. i then turned to my daughter.

"is there anything you wanna say ro?" i asked her. she put her hand on the microphone and went close to it.

"a, b, c, d, e, f, g.." rosie started singing her abc's. i watched in awe as jenna and i had been trying to teach her them before she started preschool. and here she was, singing them fluently, in front of a ton of people.

"daddy i did it!" rosie cheered when she finished. the crowd went wild and clapped for her as i just smiled widely.

"she's never- we've been trying to teach her her abc's and this is the first time she's sang them fluently. this is like a pretty big moment for her." i said. "i'm so proud of you, rosie girl."

the crowd continued to cheer as rosie just clapped like everyone else was. i then decided that she had spent enough time on stage and it was a bit loud for rosie's small ears.

"okay, i've gotta get her back to her mom. can you say bye, rosie?" i said.

"bye, bye!" rosie said, waving to the crowd. everyone cheered again and i walked backstage again.

"did you see that?! she sang her abc's in front of all those people, jenn." i told my wife. she smiled and nodded and she picked up rosie from my arms.

"i watched the whole thing. you did so good, ro!" jenna replied. she kissed our daughter on the cheek and and giggled.

"i gotta get back on stage. i love you guys." i said.

"i love you." jenna replied.

"love you, daddy!" rosie waved to me.

i kissed jenna quickly and then made my way back to the main stage.
