It was the next day and the bluenette woke up to a text message from Alya that said, "Hey girl! meet me at the park at 12, I invited a couple of people for a picnic party!"
Marinette groaned and quickly texted back letting her know she will be there.
"I can't believe he didn't say he loves me back," she said while picking out an outfit.
Tiki flew out of the closet and assured her, "Oh Marinette! Don't be sad I'm sure it's just a lot for him to process. you know he never really has had anyone to love before"
"I know tiki, I just don't understand how I thought he could have ever loved me. He never showed love, he never shows his emotions, he just so hard to read"
Tiki didn't know what to say, but she had a feeling it was all going to work out by its self. Marinette left her bedroom and Tiki followed from behind.
Chole, Alya, Nino, Adrien, Juleka, Rose, and an unfamiliar face all were seated on the soft blanket at the park.
"Hey Ladybug" "hey girl!" "Marinette glad to see you" they all greeted.
Marinette smiled and next to Alya. "Who's that girl?" Marinette asked while looking at the brown-haired girl who was laughing with Adrien.
Alya grabbed a cookie and said, "Oh that's Mia, apparently she was really close with Adrien before she moved out of Paris but now she's back"
Marinette nodded and watched the two of them, they looked really happy together.
Adrien caught Marinette staring at him and walked over to her with Mia. Hey Mari! I want you to meet my friend Mia" He said happily.
Marinette smiled at Mia who smiled back happily and said, "nice to meet you Marinette! You must be his...?"
"Im his best friend and its nice to meet you too"
Adrien and Mia smiled and waved goodbye, they walked off together holding hands.
Marinette was happy over the fact that Adrien finally found someone he could be happy with, it distracted her from the fact that she didn't have anyone until...
"Marinette," A voice said from behind.
Everyone turned their attention to Felix who stood with a dull face.
As stubborn as Marinette is, she didn't move.
A heavy sigh came from Felix as he picked Marinette up off the floor and onto her feet. "Can we talk?"
Marinette followed the proper blonde away from everyone and underneath an Autumn tree. "What do you want Felix?" Marinette said in a painful tone.
Felix breathed heavily and went silent.
There he goes again, being silent.
Marinette was done with this crap. She rolled her eyes and started to talk away.
A heavy tug turned Marinette towards Felix and into his lips.
After releasing from the kiss Felix looked at her and said, "I Love you too. I love you forever and always and I'm so so-"
Marinette's smile reached from cheek to cheek as she cut Felix off. She grabbed him closer and kissed him with fulfillment.
Because in the begging she thought with annoyance: There he was, acting perfectly as always
And now she thought: There he is, being perfect as always
It wasn't just a love story, but it was the Tales of Ladybug and Chat noir.
