Bucky's POV

The common area is quiet. No one on the team really feels like chatting.
Tony called in everyone, and even Clint got here to help.
All of them had their gear. And with our lifestyle, it is not easy to get a day off. But here they are, ready to help her.
Nova has been getting into everyone's hearts without even trying. It's hard not to love her sarcastic and caring personality. Even when she tries to stay detached, she can't pretend to not care about all the people around her.
My head snaps up as I hear footsteps, and I see Loki and Thor walking in.
Loki rubs his hands together, smiling excitedly. "Shall we go?"
"You find her?" Tony wonders, standing up from his spot on the couch.
"Of course I did. Now, let's see who's actually useful." Loki hums, staring at us.

"You two," he nods at Wanda and Pietro, "a bit of chaos magic will come in handy, and you," Loki narrows his eyes, staring at Pietro, "uh, you're just fast. Well, you will take her out." He shrugs.
"I'm coming too." I utter, standing up and getting in front of him.
He looks down, staring at me blankly.
"You're too involved," Loki states, towering over me. These Asgardians are tall.
"Do I look like I give a shit? Get in a car and show us where Nova is." I seethe, and he knits his brows together.
"Alright, someone has to stay here at the Tower in case something happens." Tony chimes in, stepping between Loki and me.
"Rhodey and Clint will stay here with Peter. Wilson and Romanoff get back to the Tower. Rogers, let's go." He nods at Steve, and we head outside, with Loki mumbling something behind us.

I slide into the driver's seat, noticing Loki staring at the car with a perplexed expression.
"You gotta open the door to get in, Grand Moff Tarkin." Tony scoffs, I roll my eyes, and lean to the side, pushing open the door from the inside.
"Get in." I grumble, and Loki clears his throat, getting in the car.
Steve and Thor get in the back seat, and I feel the car shaking when Thor tries to fit his legs in the small space.
"Move your seat." I say, starting the car.
"What?" Loki frowns, and I sigh.

I move my hands between his legs, grabbing the handle under his seat and moving it forward.
"That's better!" Thor approves with his deep voice.
I shake my head, glancing in the rear mirror and noticing Tony in the other car following me.
Loki turns his head to the left, pointing. "Turn left," he says.
I narrow my eyes, "It's one way. I can't."
"Why?" Thor asks, shoving his head between the front seats.
I turn left, a few cars honking at the abrupt maneuver. "Never mind, I've got this."
"Barnes, what the hell?" Tony scoffs in the comms.

It took almost an hour to get to Ossining before I could actually complain about Loki not knowing what he was doing.
This is where Nova used to live. It's pretty close to the address Sam found.
She has to be here.
Loki stretches his hand in front of my face. "Wait, stop the car. She's not alone." He mutters.
I pull over and get out of the car. "Why are we stopping?" Tony asks, stepping out of his Audi.
"I don't know. You should ask Loki." I mutter, nodding at the God walking toward us.

"This magic... it's very similar to Nova's, but more powerful." He hums, trying to sense more from whatever he's feeling. "Angus." He grins, his eyes staring at the house in the cul-de-sac.
"Who's Angus?" Tony wonders, crossing his arms.
"A member of Agapi's Council." Thor chimes in, stretching his back.
"He will sense us if he hasn't already. I'm going to cast a spell to conceal us until we know how to proceed." Loki says and looks over Tony's back, pointing at Wanda. "You know how to do this, don't you?"
Wanda nods, her hands glowing with red sparkles. "Yes."

"I have to get inside, see the place." Loki hums, rubbing his chin.
"The two little troopers come in with me, but you do as I tell you. Do not interact with anything. And ignore anything you may hear or feel." He glances at Steve and me.
"What does that mean?" I probe, not sure about this plan.
"If Angus feels threatened, he could kill her," Loki explains, "I'll let him believe we lost our lead and leave."
"Once we get out, you will create a decoy." He turns to Tony. "Where's the fast one?"
