A Lovely Incident PT. 1

                                    

                                          
You woke up the next morning at 6:30 as usual, Aoibhe wasn't in the common room, but you shrugged it off. You had Alicia anyways. But when you went outside Alicia wasn't waiting for you. You shrugged this off too, deciding it was better to go alone anyways, that way you could think about George and how you were going to tell him that night.
                          
However, as you exited the portrait hole, you ran into 2 people. "Potion- Oh! Robyn! Hey" it was Alicia and Jordan, "Hey guys" you say looking suspiciously between them "Where were you?" "We were just..." Alicia trails off "Talking to Snape about a potions exam!" Jordan finished "Oh, well, do you want to walk to breakfast with me?" The two girls share a look "Actually, we've got a lot of work to do, Robyn, we better start before classes" Alicia says smiling at you "Oh, okay" you say with a slight frown "See you later I guess" you say as you walk out the portrait hole.
                          
You walk down the stairs, daydreaming about George, when Aoibhe and the twins come hurdling down behind you "Run!" They all yell as they grab you by the arm and pull you down the marble staircase and behind a tapestry. "What did you guys do??" You whisper as the 4 of you hide behind the wall "You know how Umbridge loves pink so much?" Fred says as you nod your head "Well, we dyed her hair pink!" George finishes as Aoibhe giggles. "And you didn't invite me??" You look between them laughing "You were asleep" Aoibhe shrugs, still laughing. You're about to say something more when George covers your mouth, coming down the stairs you hear the click clack of Umbridge's heels, and you see her as she passes by, her hair a neon pink color. You all collapse into silent laughter as Umbridge passes by a vicious look on her face.
                          
The 4 of you recover after a moment and head into the great hall where Lee is waiting for you "Where were you all?" He says looking around at the four of you "They were all playing pranks on Umbridge without us" you say laughing as you take your usual seat between Lee and George. "What kind of prank...?" Lee says, but before anyone can say anything Umbridge bursts through the doors, bright pink hair and all, fuming as she heads to the great table in the front. You all collapse into laughter again, this time Lee and the students around you joining "This is the best thing we've done yet" Aoibhe says wiping the tears of laughter out of her eyes "I don't know, I quite liked the upside down classroom" Fred says from her side.
                          
You all continue to laugh and think up different pranks for Umbridge the rest of breakfast. You head to your normal classes that day, enjoying once again the sight of Umbridge in DADA class. You also decide to go with Aoibhe to her medi-witch class, since Alicia and Jordan make excuses as to why they can't spend the time with you, before you head down for dinner. 
                          
Once your at dinner you take your normal seat, and you all start talking. That's when Jordan and Alicia come over to talk to you. Alicia talks to you for a moment, asking about the Umbridge prank, but Jordan moves towards George. You take glances at them as Jordan talks to George in her usual flirty fashion, even going as far as taking some of his food. Eventually Jordan and Alicia say they have to go, Jordan takes one long look at George, then goes off after Alicia back to their side of the table. 
                          
You spend the rest of your dinner talking with everyone, except George, who weirdly keeps on glancing over near Jordan and her friends, and isn't talking at all. You shrug it off. At the end of dinner you all start heading out of the great hall when you stop George "Hey... Could we maybe go somewhere else?" He looks at you for a moment "Sure" you smile at him, and lead him towards your usual spot in the astronomy tower.
                          
Once you get up there you take a deep breath and turn to face George, looking him in the eye "I've been meaning to say this for a while" George looks back at you "I want us to get back together, George," you look at him hopefully, but he turns away "Did you see Jordan today?" You look after him, confused, and turn him around to face you "I just told you I want to get back together and you're asking about Jordan?" You say in disbelief "She looked so pretty at dinner tonight... You think she noticed me?" He said looking at the sky rather than you "You are unbelievable George Weasley!" You say slapping him. He looks back at you now "I think I love her, Robyn, will you maybe introduce us?" At this you look at him with hurt and disbelief in your eyes, you don't realize it then, but there's a soft pink ring around George's eyes. You rush out of the astronomy tower, tears flooding down your face, running from the rejection of the only person you ever loved.
                          
You run through the portrait hole, and, just as this morning, into Alicia. You crumple into her arms, "Robyn, are you okay?" She says running her fingers through your hair "George is in love with someone else" you look up into Alicia's eyes, you see something flicker there for a minute, but you ignore it "Do you want to go somewhere?" She says looking back at you. You nod and she leads you down the stairs and into the hidey hole she had created in the basement. 
                          
You both sit in the blanket, and Alicia wraps her arm around you, "Come on, tell me about George and Jordan" she says as you two settle in. You start to talk, but stop almost immediately and turn to look at Alicia, "I never said it was Jordan..." "Oh! I just guessed, you know she's been talking about him-" but you look at her skeptically, and then a it all dawns on you, you start to piece it all together, the talk of potions, the overheard conversation between her and Jordan, the pink ring around George's eyes... "Alicia, did you put a love potion on George?" She looks down but you make her look up at you, she has tears in her eyes, and that's all you need "You are unbelievable" you say anger boiling inside of you "Robyn-" she starts, you get up and she grabs your hand "I only did it because I love you!" You look at her, disgust in your eyes, and pull away from her grasp "I never want to see you again" and you turn and leave the hidey hole, rushing up and back towards the common room, towards George, ready to save him from whatever spell he's been put under.
