She was grumbling in her head, the rumor that she was going to be attacked had come in a bird from Konoha and they had started to watch everything around them more cautiously, since before they even left the shabby village they were in. When they entered their own country she considered that they were safe, no one would dare attack her being already in the domain protected by her brother.
The attack took her by surprise, not only because of the location in which it happened but because the way they had camouflaged themselves among the sand revealed that they were natives of that country, or if anything they were from the country of the Desert, but they knew how to use the sand to their advantage. They were four jōnin who had no problem finishing off the enemies, although the problem with them being in numbers was that they drained their energy, it was like squashing insects, despite being something simple to do it didn't change the fact that it was a lot.
She froze and hesitated for a moment before attacking the leader, she recognized him. Baki had expelled him about six years ago for his preferences and refusal to correct his deviation. When Tenten pierced the sword to protect her she reacted, he was an enemy and had to be finished, period. The three Konoha shinobi attacked and when she thought she had a direct shot, she moved her fan, but being from her own village he was also familiar with that style of fighting.
She took a couple of steps back because she saw him approaching very fast while trying to push him away with the fan, she was recovering her breath and about to make a new move when the brunette crossed her field of attack, had she lost her mind? But the important thing is that Tenten managed to surprise and slit the man's throat. The ANBU tattooed ninja made the inspection to make sure they could continue, out of the corner of her eye she saw that Tenten was covered in blood, her appearance normally didn't match her performance on the battlefield, with a twin swords she was bloodthirsty and showed no mercy. They couldn't just stand there, the spilled blood would attract different predators from the desert so she gave the order to continue at once.
"Tenten!" was almost a shout when she saw the brunette in the vanguard stop momentarily and then faint, "Tenten!" everyone ran to her and turned her over so that she was face up, given the fact that her attire had turned red it was impossible to determine what had happened.
"Here," Osamu pointed to a spot on her waist to which more sand had stuck.
"Pass me the canteen," the object was handed to her and she opened it at once, cleaning the indicated place and noticing that the cloth was torn.
She wasted no time in finding how to loosen the useless garment, she asked for a kunai and with precision she cut the waistband throwing aside the scrolls Tenten had there, and tore the dress more to see better, the blood thread was coming out of a cut that she couldn't tell at a glance how deep it was.
"We need to make pressure," each one searched among their things and managed with what they found to make a quick healing, it was an improvised bandage that would have to hold the time of travel they had left, "Kisho, carry her."
"I can do it," a surge of anger ran through her at the thought that the man had been making indecent comments to the brunette could take advantage while he was carrying her to touch her inappropriately.
"I said Kisho," the shinobi nodded and without much effort lifted her up, she pointed to the scrolls that couldn't be left there for the other man to carry, "let's go!"
Less than two hours later the gates of Suna finally appeared, the guards saw her surprised to bring an injured person and immediately someone replaced the ninja carrying Tenten, passing her to a stretcher and heading at once to the medical center while she went to her brother's office, instructing her companions to follow her to give the report at once. She greeted Matsuri with a nod of her head as she grabbed the doorknob and went inside at once.
