Kyoka POV
I woke up to the sound of snoring.
'He's still asleep' I thought to myself with a chuckle. I poked him in the cheek and he began to wake up.
"Huh?" He said in a tired voice as his eyes slowly began to open.
"Morning, green bean." I say as I look up into his half asleep eyes.
"Morning, Kyoka." He said as he pulled me into an even tighter hug and gave me a kiss on my forehead.
"What's the time?" He asked me and himself.
"Let me check. It's 8:10." I told him. I heard a small laugh come from him.
"What's so funny?" I asked in a fake annoyed voice.
"Your hair is a mess." He said as he ran his hand through my hair.
"You're one to talk." I say as I hold back a laugh.
"Oh, haha. At least it looks good on me." He said with a chuckle.
"Hey!" I said and I hit him in the face with a pillow.
"I definitely deserved that." He said as he pushed the pillow off of his face and sat up.
"Happy Halloween." He said after he looked at the calendar still half asleep.
"Really, already?!" I said in shock.
"I know this month feels so short." He said as he got up.
"You get changed and I'll go get your breakfast ready. After that I'll get changed and do myself breakfast." He explained and he left the room. It had been about a year since we finished UA and almost 3 years since me and Izuku got together. A lot can happen in 3 years. I've loved every second so far and I hope I love every second yet to come.
"Kyoka, breakfast is ready." I heard him say from the other side of the door. I opened the door and made my way to the kitchen as he started to get changed in our room. I sat at the table with my breakfast.
"He knows just what I like." I said with a subtle pink blush on my cheeks as I began to eat my American style breakfast with the bacon and eggs in the shape of a music note and the pancakes on the other side of the plate. I was nearly finished when he came into the room and began to make himself a similar breakfast to mine.
"Do you like breakfast?" He asked me.
"Of course I do, green bean, it was made by you." I said with a smile.
"I'm glad you like it." He said as he sat down with his food.
"So, Kyoka, what do you want to do for Halloween?" He asked.
"I think I'd be fun to invite a few friends over and have a small costume party." I suggested.
"Sounds good, we can get our costumes after breakfast." After he said that we continued to eat with me finishing before him.
"Done!" He said as he put his fork down.
"I'm a good cook!" He said proudly.
"I know, you say it every day." I say jokingly annoyed.
"Sorry." He said to me.
"No need to apologise, I think it's cute." I said as I kissed him on the cheek.
"Love you, Kyoka." He said as he got up.
"Love you too, Izuku." I said as I put my shoes on and finished getting ready. The two of us left the house and went to the store to get our costumes. After about an hour of looking I decided to go with pennywise costume and Izuku went with a Freddy Krueger outfit.
"I didn't expect you to go with something so scary." I say somewhat confused.
"I thought I'd try something a bit different"
"Really "A bit" I'd expect you to were a full maid cosplay before you'd wear that."
"Is that you asking for me in a maid dress?" The second those words escaped his mouth I wasn't sure weather to laugh or cry or both.
"I'll take you silence as a yes, be prepared for next year." At this point I was struggling to stand from how much I was laughing. The two for us payed for our outfits and made our way home.
"So what do you want me to make for lunch?" Izuku asked me.
"Sandwich." I reply.
"That all?" He asked.
"Big sandwich."
"Got it, big sandwiches."
"Kyoka, lunch is ready!" I heard Izuku call from the other room. I walked through and sat down on the couch as he brought lunch through and put the tv on to a horror movie.
"I'm excited for tonight, Kyoka."
"Same, Izuku." After about an hour the movie finished and me and Izuku began to get the house ready for Halloween. We put up pumpkin stickers on the windows with a black curtain and a green light. We put plastic bats in the front garden and carved some pumpkins and put them by the door. To help us get in the spooky mood we put on some Halloween music and got changed into our Halloween costumes.
"Kyoka, can you give our friends a call to ask them to come over to join us for our party?" Izuku asked me.
"Ok, got it." Of the next few minutes I called most if not all of our friends but unfortunately they were all busy, if it wasn't that they were busy with Halloween activities they were busy with something like hero work. I went through to the living room and sat on the couch next to Izuku.
"So, Izuku I have something important to say." I said as I rested my head on his shoulder.
"What's that Kyo?" He asked.
"Everyone already has plans."
"Everyone, really? What about Iida?"
"He was busy with hero work."
"Momo?"
"Already going to a party."
"Uraraka?"
"Same as Iida."
"Fuck."
"It's what we get for planning at the last minute."
"What do we do now?"
"We could just have a party anyway."
"A two person party?"
"A two person party."
This took all day for me to write. Could I have done it faster? Probably, but I took way too many breaks. I hope you liked it.
