Chapter 6

                                    

                                          
The blond was woken up in the morning by the sound of door opening he squinted his eyes to see sasuke entering the restroom with clothes in his hands. He sat up and stretched satisfied with the crackling of his bones. Sasuke came to the room and sat in front of the blond. 
"good morning dobe" 
something was off is all that the blond felt, and then he realised, the raven was smiling, since the time he arrived here- no wait- since the time he was kidnapped here he haven't seen sasuke smiling all he saw was an arrogant smirk playing on those lips.
The blond smiled widely and greeted him morning, unable to understand the warm feeling in his chest when he looked at that smile.
                          
"i wanna shower please"
"but you just showered last night"
"you see, sleeping on the floor without any mattress isn't exactly the best thing in the world, I need a warm shower for my muscles to work"
Sasuke snorted as he started undoing the cuffs oh his hands, and wordlessly picked the blond up bridal style in his arms.
"YOU KNOW I CAN WALK RIGHT? PUT ME DOWN! IM NOT YOUR WIFE FOR HELL SAKE"
sasuke just raised an eyebrow at the outburst of the blond, what surprised him more was the flushed cheeks of his, damn he looks cute when he blushes, an idea popped up in his mind, he put the blond down. Naruto annoyingly said a thanks and proceeded to walk towards the restroom.

third step 
and then in the fourth step the chains in his legs messed up his movements, Naruto was falling face first on the ground, he closed his eyes and braced himself for the impact but nothing was felt except two strong and warm arms wrapped around his waist and something soft on his lips.
He opened his eyes, blue and black clashed together, Naruto's eyes widened at realisation, sasuke was in front of him, hugging him and his lips were on his lips unmoving, blood rushed to the blond's cheeks and ears, the way his tan skin looked so appealing with slight pinkiness drove sasuke mad, this is the sight he wanted to see and and he succeeded in it.
Naruto pulled back, too embarrassed to say anything he let the raven carry him to the restroom the cruel sasuke kept on chuckling the entire way. "teme.." Naruto growled out and walked into the restroom for a warm shower. The restroom was locked from outside with the raven standing against the door.
                          
After finishing his relaxing shower he knocked on the door letting sasuke know he was done. Sasuke opened the door, carried the blond who once again blushed he couldn't help as the word slipped of his tongue. "cute.." the raven said amidst his chuckles causing the blond to pout and blush more.
                          
"why the hell am I blushing, damn it..." the blond was mentally cursing himself, sasuke finished cuffing his hands back. He handed the food tray he brought for him "eat your breakfast" the raven sat in front of the blond having a mental conflict whether to ask or not ask the question he has been dying to since the blond was brought here.
                          
"Naruto"
"hm?"
"how did you get those whisker marks on your cheeks?"
the blond's body went rigid, but that was only for a moment before he composed himself and calmly spoke.
"birth marks"
Sasuke nodded although he knew that the person was lying, those marks didn't look like birthmarks from any angle, he was way too aware of a cut made with knife but he didn't wanted to press the topic considering how the blond tensed. He looked at the blond eating and left the room to run his errands.
                          
Naruto after having his breakfast just simply leaned against the wall staring at nothing, he had no idea of what time it was, he was just locked up in a room with nothing except these chains, he didn't know when but he closed his eyes and slowly drifted to sleep.
                          
"hey bastard! we are going to the park after this right?" he heard a teen's voice, this voice seemed like his own but younger.
                          
"yes idiot, now get back to solving your maths homework" a voice replied which was way too familiar yet so distant.
                          
"ahh, why don't YOU do it" altho he heard the voices all he saw was a mess of colours, two blurred figures.
                          
"shut up and do it" he heard giggling. The voice he heard of his own younger version, he giggled, he saw himself but younger around his teenage, he saw him smiling widely and a hand on his head, he couldn't see the figure but his hands. 
His head started pounding he felt as if the ground beneath him was falling apart. 
                          
The blond was awoken with a feeling as if he was falling in an endless abyss. He was panting badly, his heart was beating as if it will jump out of his chest. He felt someone put their hands on his shoulders trying to shake him awake from his daze, he didn't knew what was happening, he saw sasuke in front of him but blurry he saw his lips move but he couldn't hear what was he saying.
Then he felt a sensation on his lips,  he tried focusing on that all too familiar sensation, he felt a pain in his lower lip he focused on that pain, and soon enough he focused back onto reality, the reality where sasuke was kissing- no biting  him, he patted his shoulder letting him know that he's okay.
                          
The moment sasuke lifted his head to look at Naruto, he realised his state, sweat on his forehead, bleeding lips which was his cause,  quivering eyes. 
                          
"Naruto, breathe...breathe...exhale ....yes, inhale...slowly, concentrate on your breathing okay? follow my breathing" sasuke comforted the blond, he caressed his hair while breathing in sync with the blond.
Slowly the blond calmed down. "thanks" is all Naruto said before leaning back into the wall and staring at the ceiling. He stayed like that for a while, he looked at the man sitting in front of him. He was taken aback by the sincere worried look in his eyes, never in his life he had seen someone look at him with those eyes. He reached out to touch his cheeks before softly saying "hey, sasuke calm down, I'm okay now"
                          
The other visibly relaxed at this "you want to talk about it?" sasuke's question was met with a silent Naruto and downcasted eyes, a bitter smile crept upon his lips as the blond said "to talk about it shouldn't I be first aware of what's happening" 
His own words sting his heart,since when did he become this pathetic to have no control over his life.
Tears slid down Naruto's cheeks and kept falling on the floor while his lips were still tied in a bittersweet smile, his whole frame was shaking. Sasuke immediately hugged the blond, letting the other cling to him while he broke down. Naruto's silent cries were felt by sasuke, although the blond didn't let a single cry escape his mouth he could feel agony in his own heart, he could feel his shirt soaking, he could feel the blond's body trembling. He couldn't help as his own eyes started tearing up seeing the man who always smiled crying like this. 'Why? why did it has to happen to you Naruto, why?' although he had no idea what the blond had seen but one thing was clear that he was in pain.
                          
After some time the blond stopped trembling and his eyes felt heavy from all the crying. "sasuke sorry for you shirt" he said in a hoarse voice as he pulled back from his embrace, he looked up to see sasuke's eyelashes wet and once again he was shocked. "sasuke.... were you..." the blond wiped the other's damp lashes feeling the sense of familiarity again. Ever since he arrived here his dreams got stronger, from mashed up colours to pictures to voice, everything happened since he was brought here , since he met sasuke.
'who are you sasuke' the question surfaced in Naruto's mind but he dare not let it escape his lips.
                          
both of them smiled at each other "hey sasuke, I need water...and I need to wash my face too" sasuke nodded as he undid the cuffs carried the blond to the restroom, locked the door from outside and left to fetch water and food.
                          
'those voices, there is no doubt about it, they were mine and sasuke's but ....what are these dreams, who was that man...who...' he chuckled bitterly looking at his reflection 'i am asking who's sasuke, the question is, who are you Naruto, Naruto? you aren't even naruto!' he splashed water on his face. He was wiping his face when he heard the restroom door open, he smiled and let sasuke carry him outside.
                          
"you know you can just undo my cuffs rather than carry me every single time" 
                          
"and where's the fun in that?" sasuke asked with a teasing smirk as the other just pouted. When sasuke was done cuffing his hands he left and Naruto ate his lunch.
                          
After all that crying naruto was sure of one thing, he has to know sasuke. Nothing much happened the entire day, he sat there in the room alone lost in thoughts, sasuke came to give him dinner and uncuffed him for restroom breaks.
                          
Now he lay on the floor afraid to sleep but how long could he hold out, with nothing to do and an exhausted body he couldn't help but drift to sleep..
