"What were you doing with another man?" Griamore asked, actually feeling hurt. However, the silver haired didn't take it that way, but more like he was angry at her... Which scared her...

"I-it's not what you t-think. I-I found him on the streets a-and he was sick, s-so I took care of him in a few days."

The man just turned his back towards her and threw his bag onto the bed, saying "Unpack this for me, I'm tired."

She nodded, walking over to the bag and opening it as he threw himself onto the bed.

. . . . .

As hours passed and the silver haired had done everything her future husband had told her to do, and even made food for the two, it was time for bed, which was the time she feared most...

When two powerful families marry each other, they usually try to make a child right away, even if they are just fiance and fiancee. That is probably what was coming now... and she had to do it, wanting it or not. It was up to him if he felt like it. Even if she wasn't ready for being a mother herself, she had to do it...

Slowly pulling up the blanket, on the other side of the bed than where he laid, she went into bed. He turned around, pulling her into the middle.

"Let's just get this over with." He mumbled, about to pull her nightgown off.

Panic filled her body as she couldn't help than to struggle a bit, moving around and trying to move away from him, but he held her in place.

Neither of the two knew that a small blonde stood outside the room, peeking in just to make sure he was right about what was happening.

"N-not before m-marriage, p-please..." The silver haired pleaded, even tho they were basically married already with the unbelievable small chance of it being cancelled.

As the blonde saw her still struggling, his instincts took over and he slammed the door open. Without a second thought, he went up to the bed, pushing the man off of her.

He grabbed her and pulled her into his embrace, her tears finally slipping her eyes as she buried her face into the blonde's shoulder.

Griamore was just shocked, laying in bed. Meliodas went out of the room to the one opposite, the guest room...

He put her down on the bed carefully, but she wouldn't let go of him. She held onto him tightly and cried.

Not being able to do anything else, he just covered her body up with the blanket before sitting down beside her in the bed, letting her hug and cry out on him.

"It's okay, I'm here." He whispered, stroking her hair.

"Everything is fine now, I won't let that happen to you again. You are safe. You are safe." He mumbled, trying everything to calm her down.

. . . . .

The silver haired was the first one that woke up, feeling herself being pushed up against someone.

Looking up, she saw the blonde that was sleeping peacefully, holding his arms around her in a hug. Looking down at herself, she saw that she was covered by the blanket up to her neck.

All she remembered last night before she fell asleep was crying and feeling scared... nothing more.

Her gaze once again went up to his face as her hand slowly took a hold of his cheek. Then she kissed his cheek softly, mumbling a small "Thank you."

His grip around her tightened slightly while he turned a bit more to the side, still being asleep.

Then she decided to get up as she covered him in the blanket. Quietly walking towards her room, she peeked inside to see if Griamore was in there.

To her surprise, she was pinned towards the wall beside the door instead, Griamore standing there.

"I'm sorry Elizabeth for last night. I don't like it either, but you have to give birth to my child or this marriage won't work out."

"M-maybe I don't want it to work out." She hissed, crawling out from his hold while trying to act as if she wasn't scared of him. The fear inside her just continued to grow anyways as she quickly went into her room and picked out a dress from the wardrobe that she changed into.

Griamore followed after, saying "You don't have a choice. It's family business, a woman like you has no rights to say anything."

"So you have then?"

"W-well, n-not r-"

"Like I thought. Why would you continue to pressure me when you don't even want to yourself?"

"Because it's family business. I'm just doing what I need to for our family to stay at the same place like before, that's my duty as heir to all my family's money. Your duty is to marry a man to give them more power and have a  child, you can't run away from it."

"But I don't want to! I want to be my own person and decide by my own! I know I'm worth nothing, but it doesn't mean I will just let everyone make my life choices!"

"You still have to do what you are meant to! Besides, it's too late, we are going to marry each other in a month and a half. You have to marry me now and have at least one child."

"No! I-I want to marry someone I actually like, b-besides, I don't want a child already! I'm just 16, it's too young for being a mother!"

"You like him, don't you? That guy that just bust into our room last night, it's him you are talking about marrying."

"N-no, h-he just understands me and respects me! H-he's just a friend." The silver haired mumbled, blushing slightly at the thought of marrying him. It wouldn't really be a big deal if he was her future husband. He was respectful and understanding towards her, he was her first friend.

Having enough of it, he just went out from the room. He would return to his current home soon anyways. The only reason for coming all the way here for the night was just because he wanted to know how his future life would be like, but this was not what he expected.

She slowly walked out too, going downstairs to start with breakfast as millions of thoughts about Meliodas overwhelmed her mind. She didn't want to think about him, but now when she has started, she couldn't stop. It was something about him that made her feel... well... butterflies in her stomach and her heart racing.

Why though, she had no idea...
