Tine decides enough was enough. He had tolerated Wat too much. The way he looked down at his orientation and yet expected him to be his boytoy was irritating as hell. His love for Wat was kinda getting lost because of his cruel behavior. 
"What the hell Wat?"
"What did I do? "
"You kissed me. "
"So? It was on the cheek."
"Who the hell do you think you are? "
"Do I need to answer that? "
"Sarawat don't cross the line. I won't tolerate it anymore. I'm not your plaything. "
Wat scoffed, "I never said you were. I don't treat you like that. "
"You do. Why do you spend all your time with me? "
"Because I want to. "
"Are we friends? "
"Yes."
"People don't kiss their friends, Wat. "
"Tine, why are you complicating everything? "
"Because it's not as simple as it looks to you. "
"Why not? You like me and I like spending time with you so we spend it together. What's so hard about this? "
"So are we boyfriend? "
"No, I never said that. "
"That's the problem, Wat. I wish you would say so. "
"I don't want-"
"I don't care what you want or don't. But I'm done with you. All you want is get into my pants and you aren't even truthful about that. "
"This is not about that."
"Maybe this all makes sense in your head but it doesn't to me. You and I are nothing. I like you but you don't like me. So let's end it at that. You expect me to have no string attached relationship with you but I can't do that. 
You won't ever accept me in public. You are ashamed of your own feelings. How can I be with someone like that? I don't want to be your dirty secret. I hate that. I want you to love me regardless of anything else."
"I don't want to be gay. I'm not. "
"Why? What's wrong with being one? Just give me one valid reason. Let me try to understand why you hate us so much. "
"I don't have to justify anything to you."
"You are right. You don't have to. So let's end whatever this is. Goodbye Sarawat. It was nice meeting you."
Tine walked away leaving Wat standing there. Tine didn't look back even look once. He was done with this chapter of his life. For him it was closed forever. He couldn't make Wat understand so he let go. It was hurting too much to keep holding on. Sarawat ditched classes that day and went home. He was in terrible mood. He couldn't believe Tine rejected him. In real sense of word it was rejection perse since he hadn't confessed but he didn't think Tine would leave him like this. 
He liked Tine. 
It took him so long to admit that. He had been so scared of turning out just like his brother. He couldn't let that happen. He hated the thought of that the most. How could he handle it? He had hurt Tine though he never wanted to do that. Maybe it was all for better. Tine would stay away from him. That's good for him. 
Next day entire college was in uproar. Scandalous pics of two students had gone viral and the faculty were trying to curb the situation but it was beyond help. It didn't help that one of them was son of the trustee. Sarawat was summoned by his father and as soon as he entered the room, his father threw his wine glass at his face. Sarawat could have dodged it but he didn't because he knew it would anger his father more. 
"What is this? " His father shouted angrily. 
"I'm sorry, Father. "
"Sorry? Have you lost it? "
"I'll handle it. "
"Handle it? Who the hell do you think you are? Since the day you were born you have been nothing but burden. If you weren't the heir I would have thrown you away." 
"I apologize. I'll make sure it is handled properly. "
"Who is the boy in the pic? "
"....... "
"WHO THE HELL IS HE? "
"Someone I know. "
"Do I care about that? I need his name dammit."
"He's no one. I'll make sure it's resolved."
"Is he trying to trap you for money? "
"NO. He doesn't even know I am heir."
"Do you really believe that? Sarawat, people only talk to you because you are rich. Do you think anyone would even look at you if you didn't have this money? Stop being delusional. He's probably after money and you seemed like an easy target. "
"He's not like that. "
"Wow, you are defending him
So this isn't one sided. Tell me dear boy, do you love him? "
"No, I don't. "
"You are lying. You can't lie to me. You should know that after all these years. You like him if not love. Hmmn, I think he need to be taught a lesson."
"Father, it's not like that. He has got nothing to do with this. I won't disappoint you anymore."
"Of course you won't because I won't let you. That boy is going to pay for tarnishing my reputation."
"Father, it-"
"Shut up. Not another word. Get out."
Sarawat quickly left for school. He needed to see Tine. It was all his fault. Tine was innocent yet he was going to suffer because of him. A thought crossed his mind like it does whenever he interacts with his father, if only he wasn't born, things would have been better.
