DEREK IS TRAINING HIS BETAS TO FIGHT IN THE railway depot, it was abandoned so it was the perfect place to hide and train for any hunters that want to kill him. He was not impressed with their fighting skills; he could basically predict what they were going to do next.
"Does anyone wanna try not being completely predictable?", Derek questioned impatiently which resulted to Erica jumping out of nowhere and jumped into Derek's arms and started kissing him. To which he kissed back for a second but then pushed her off and wiped his mouth, Erica's smirk faulted for a split second. "That's the last time you do that", the alpha ordered, directing it at the blonde.
The Reyes girl smirked, "Why?", she asked, raising her eyebrows flirtatiously. "Because I'm a beta", Erica answered her own questioned which made Derek look at her with a knowing look.
"No", Derek trailed off. "Because, I have a blonde in mind for you", the Hale man spoke vaguely, turning his focus away from the blonde beta. Erica's mind went to Esmeralda, she had a little crush but surely she's not what Derek meant but who else was blonde and inside Scott's friend group. Jackson? Isaac? It couldn't be Isaac because he's not in Scott's inner circle.
A voice interrupted Erica's thought, "Are we done?", Isaac asked, and everyone's eyes had travelled onto the beta that was in pain on the floor. "I've got a hundred bones that need a few hours to heal", Isaac conveyed, in an irritated tone.
"Come here", Derek said, as he walked over to the blonde boy, he snatched Isaac's arm and snapped it like a twig. The beta let out a scream of agony. "A hundred and one", Derek corrected, the beta winced, holding his arm.
Erica looked at Boyd.
"You think I'm teaching you to fight?", Derek asked, yelling, and getting eye contact with each of his betas. "Huh?", he questioned harshly, Erica looking towards Isaac, who just held a blank expression, but it felt like he was trying to not appear scared. "Look at me!", he boomed, making the betas jump from surprise even though they knew it was coming. "I'm teaching you how to survive!", he explained, raising his voice.
The curly-haired beta had a sour expression on his face, "If they wanted us dead, why aren't they coming for us? What are they waiting for?", Isaac asked, narrowing his eyes towards his alpha.
Derek looked away from his betas, "I don't know. But they're planning something", he emphasised, turning his attention towards his betas again. "And you especially know that's not our only problem", Derek said, having a concerned look plastered on his face.
It made the three betas look at each other with worry.
The alpha continued, "Whatever that thing is that killed Isaac's father, I think that it also killed someone else last night", Derek paused. "It might also have an accomplice that bleeds blue blood and whatever that is. I tend to find out what they both are. You all need to be learning everything I know", the Hale alpha explained. "As fast as I can teach you", he finalised, a lot calmer than before.
