Natasha Romanoff had taken a different approach to searching the building. She was crawling through the ventilation trying not to be seen. She had been successful as far as she could see but she froze when creak in the metal came from above her.
"Privett Natalia," was all she heard before there was a harsh slash against the metal and Vienna jumped to break the vent.
Natasha was flung out of the vent as it fell, she rolled and quickly turned to find Vienna who had landed gracefully on the fallen vent.
"Vienna," Natasha said, slightly winded from her sudden fall, "do we not have to fight or have you got a bone to pick? Because you let Yelena go right."
"Any hurt that Yelena has been involved in was never her fault," Vienna told her, spinning her stick with the knife on the end in her fingers as she stepped off of the vent, "you on the other hand, are not so innocent."
"You really came here to hunt us," Natasha sighed, standing and taking steps to distance herself from Vienna a little, "your action are a real head fuck you know that?"
"No they're not," Vienna chuckled, seemingly not that focused on what Natasha was doing, "how could I hate you like this if I didn't love you with everything I have. You were my everything, I wanted to be just like you when I grew up. Strong. Brave. A hero. My hero."
"What changed?" Natasha asked, her smirk falling as she watched Vienna.
"I became better than you," Vienna laughed, running the blade on the top of the stick along her palm gently. Her voice started off calm but grew angry in a shout at she spoke, "and you left me on a roof top to get shot. You promised to always be there for me and never showed up. You leaked Hydra secrets onto the internet so now everyone knows what I've done but not why because they didn't digitise all the records. You promised you'd come back for me and then you went and fucking died!"
Natasha looked like she was about to cry as she backed away from Vienna who had tears of rage coming from her eyes.
"Vienna I-, I am so sorry," Natasha could feel her bottom lip shaking as she spoke.
"It's too late for sorry," Vienna whispered before kicking forward, catching Nat in the hip and flinging her against the wall.
Using one foot to pin her older sister in place, Vienna lifted the stick.
"You're really gonna bring me back just to kill me?" Natasha asked, not wanting to fight Vienna but prepared to defend herself if she wouldn't back off, "and for Hydra? You really went back to them."
"I don't work for Hydra," Vienna said, the emotion on her face and in her voice faded as she got distracted by the question, "I got this job from the power broker."
"Really? You know James and Sam have been looking for that one," Natasha said, hopeful that Vienna would say something, she didn't seem the loyal type anymore.
"Shame," Vienna shrugged, swinging the stick up so it was pointed at Natasha, "it wouldn't be professionally of me to reveal trade secrets."
Before Vienna could strike, she received a hard kick to the face that knocked her to the floor. Wincing through the pain, she pushed herself back up to see Yelena frowning down at her as she stood in front of Natasha.
"Watch yourself Vienna," she told her, glancing over at the stick that had been thrown half way across the room, "you could get hurt."
