You left the steaming shower-room later that evening, stealthily slipping inside of the doors that led to your bedroom. With a sigh of relief, your cream-coloured towel dropped onto your wooden floor.

Whilst tidying your hair and applying some make-up, you decided to put on some comfortable, warm pyjamas whilst you readied yourself for your night out with the Captain.

Your bedroom door suddenly knocked.

You immediately glanced up at the clock on your night-stand, worried that you had gotten the time wrong and Levi was already ready for the evening.

"Levi," You called out, continuing using your beauty products, "You can come in!"

However, you were immediately caught off-guard when Hange entered your bedroom: giving you a questionable look - they wondered why you had immediately assumed that it was Levi, who was at your door.

"Hange?" You swallowed, "What are you doing here?"

"Why did you think I was Levi? Nevermind, actually, I need to talk to you." The Commander, not wanting to pry, sat against your bed whilst nervously averting their gaze from you: "Y/N - how good are you at keeping secrets?"

Unsure on what their point was, your brow rose: "I'm fairly good, why do you ask?"

"I've realised something, and, I'm not quite sure who to tell," Hange continued whilst ordering for you to come sit beside them, insisting that they needed your full-attention, "I need you to make an oath to me; an oath, that you will never tell a soul what I am about to tell you."

"I swear. You have my word, Hange."

Hange, tilting their circular-glasses along their hooked nose, leaned closer in your direction. Their musty aroma filled your nostrils whilst their eyes glistened in excitement.

"Levi is in a relationship."

"What?"

"You heard me. Levi is in a relationship."

You felt your expression suddenly drop. You wondered if Hange was unknowingly talking about you, confusing the signs that Levi was having secret hook-ups with him being in a committed relationship.

Not wanting to seem suspicious, you gasped and playfully laughed: "Really? What makes you think that?"

"I have a lot of reasons," Hange tiredly laid back against your bed whilst outstretching their arms into your soft pillows, "First of all, I've noticed a difference in his personality over the past few months. I've known him for years, and these past few months are the most I've seen him leave his office. He seems so much.. calmer, I guess you could say - he's become less of a recluse."

You raised an eyebrow, still waiting for them to elaborate.

"He's been taking better care of himself, as well." The Commander continued, "Every day, his face is clean shaven; his hair is styled with more care and time. He always smells so amazing - I suppose that he's started to use an expensive cologne. I've even noticed that he's been dressing better - not that he didn't dress well before, but, you know what I mean."

You didn't respond to Hange's elaboration, attempting to make sense of this 'change' in Levi that they had noticed.

"But, here's where it gets interesting." They exhaled a sigh, their gaze meticulously glaring around the room as if to check that he wasn't there: "I saw him. The other night. With a woman."
