Chapter 31: Saving Future Rin

                                    

                                          
While traveling, Bulma is fascinated while Goku is already sick. Upon landing, they quickly realize the future did not change and their suspicions were right. Goku falls out of the time machine disoriented, and Future Zamasu and Goku Black immediately sense that they have returned. Future Trunks gives Bulma the capsule with the time machine suture Jaken and a soldier of Earth's Resistance meets the group. 
                          
"Lady Kagome! Thank goodness you're here!" Future Jaken cried out as he ran towards them with a panic look. 
                          
"Jaken, what happened? What's wrong?" Kagome asked in a worried tone.
                          
"It's Rin! She doesn't feel well! She must be feeling sick while helping people out!" He cried out more.
                          
"What!? Rin's feeling sick!?" Future Goten asked in a panic. 
                          
He nodded in response. 
                          
"Oh, no. This is not good." Future Trunks muttered with a sweatdrop. 
                          
Then he began to glare in determination when Future Goten stood up straight before going back to the subway station. "Take us to Rin."
                          
"Y-yes!" Future Jaken bowed down to them then he lead them back. "Oh, Lord Sesshomaru will kill me when he finds out!"

They run back to the Resistance base and see that Future Rin is out cold with every civilian around her while laying on the bed, feeling too sick. Future Goten panicked when he saw her laid there. 
                          
"Rin!" He cried out. He kneel and checked her state while the others figured out what's wrong with her. The two children were happy to see them after they had watched over her.
                          
"You're here!" The little girl said happily. 
                          
"Help her, Trunks and Mai! We don't know what to do to Lady Rin." The boy cried out.
                          
Then Kagome checked Rin's state when she placed her bare hand onto her forehead until she realized what temperature she's having. "She's out cold. Rain must have a fever." She said, frowning. Kagome turned her head and faced Goku immediately. "Goku, I need a Senzu Bean."
                          
"Right." Goku nodded with a frown, so he gave it to Kagome a Senzu Bean until Future Goten stopped them.
                          
"Wait. Let me give her a Senzu Bean, Kagome." Future Goten pleaded with her.
                          
She sighed a bit as she couldn't help but smile. "Okay, Goten." Then she gave him a Senzu Bean and he chewed it up and kissed Future Rin so it would go down her throat. After that, Future Rin was feeling better when she opened her eyes and see Future Goten's face.
                          
"Go... ten...?" She groaned tiredly.
                          
"Rin! Are you okay?" Future Goten asked her, sounded so happy. 
                          
Future Rin nodded slowly. "Yeah..."
                          
"Rin! Thank goodness you're alright!" Future Jaken cried out happily as he embraced her with joy, "I'm glad Lord Sesshomaru wasn't here to kill me when he finds out you're out cold!"
                          
"Master Jaken..." Future Rin called out softly with a relieved smile. 
                          
Kagome sighed in relief with a smile. 
                          
"Wow, son! What was that for!? You put your mouth on her! That's so weird!" Goku exclaimed in surprise.
                          
Vegeta scoffed. "Kakarot, you never kissed someone?"
                          
Goku was confused. He chuckled with a nervous smile while chuckling. "No, of course not. Why?"
                          
"You're married and have children!" Vegeta argued, "Or you ever kissed Kagome in a cheek before Trunks got there!"
                          
"Yeah, duh! What has to do with kissing!?" Goku argued back.
                          
"You--! No way!" Vegeta looked away.
                          
"No, tell me! It's like some people can do?" Goku questioned him curiously.
                          
Kagome and Bulma sighed with sweatdrops, gazing at each others' eyes. Then the children started to laugh.
                          
"Wait! Did Goku really kiss Kagome when I was asleep?" Shippo asked in surprise.
                          
"To tell you the truth, yes. He did kiss me on the cheek when you were asleep beside us. When I told him how I feel about why Inuyasha never told me about letting Kikyo join the group, Goku had healed my heart and told me to move on from the past, so he kissed me on the cheek, which I'm really happy he was a first person who truly cares about me." Kagome explained it to Shippo.
                          
"Did I?" Goku asked.
                          
She chuckled. "Well, of course, you do. You're the first person who healed my heart."
                          
Vegeta sighed at that. "I wish you and Kakarot would be together as a married couple."
                          
"What do you mean?" Bulma asked curiously. 
                          
"All I mean is Kagome is our favorite and she should be marrying Kakarot," Vegeta said.
                          
"But... Goku was already married!" She protested. 
                          
He stared at her silently until Bulma figured out why Kagome and Goku should be together. 
                          
"Oh... I see." Bulma muttered with a sweatdrop.
                          
"What is it?" Goku asked curiously. 
                          
"You don't want to know, Goku. You'll find out one day."
                          
"What do you mean!? Tell me!" Goku wailed. 
                          
Kagome placed her hand on his left should. "She said you'll see one day, but right now, we still need to fight Black and Zamasu."
                          
"Oh, right!" He exclaimed. 
                          
"Or I can help everyone with this!" Bulma said, pulling out something from her coat pocket. Then she spotted and recognized Future Yajirobe. Future Rin is relieved to see the group has returned after feeling better. She meets Bulma, and they exchange pleasantries while Bulma hands her capsules with food and supplies. Then the four Saiyans and Kagome immediately sense Goku Black and Future Zamasu and they head out to find them.
                          
"It looks like they're looking for us." Kagome muttered with a warning look, "We better be ready for another battle."
                          
They nodded in response with glaring look with their faces. So they prepared for another battle against Black and Zamasu.
