Okay, loooong update because why not? 😁

***

New.

"Move over!" I hissed at Tay.

We were currently lying in bed with Tay scooting closer to me every time I moved away from him. And by the looks of it, it's just a matter of several inches before I'd find myself on the floor.

"Stop moving away from me then."

"Geez, Tay! It's too hot! Why the hell do you keep moving near me??"

Tay just grinned before snaking his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"Ugh! Fine! I'm sleeping on the couch!" I announced and tried removing his arm from me but the jerk just placed his leg on top of mine, thus preventing me from sitting up.

"Stop moving. You'll fall," he whispered against my ear before hovering above me, completely getting me by surprise.

"What the hell are you doing?" I swallowed nervously as he leaned closer towards me. The necklace bearing my name slightly touched my lips as he closed the distance between us and placed a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Just wanna say good night," he added before lying down beside me and hugging me back.

I could feel my face heating up and my heart racing as he grabbed me closer.

His breaths then became steady, signifying that he had already fallen asleep.

How could he sleep in this situation???

I slowly moved away from him, prying his arm off my waist so I could free myself from him.

It was a good thing he didn't wake up.

I was tiptoeing my way to the couch when his phone vibrated.

Not that I wanted to pry on his matter but curiosity definitely got the best of me as I made my way to where his phone was and peeked at the screen only to be frozen on the spot with what I'd seen.

"New? New?"

I flinched when he called out my name. Panic was evident in his voice as he looked around and heaved a deep sigh when he spotted me standing nearby.

"What are you doing? Why aren't you sleeping?"

"Uuh, I just went to the comfort room," I lied before walking back towards the bed.

"Come here."

I gave him a faint smile and obliged.

"I thought you left without telling me."

"Tss. I'm not like you."

We both stilled at my response and for some reason I felt guilty.

But hey! I wasn't wrong with my statement.

"Co-come on. Let's just sleep. We still need to be early tomorrow," I added before turning my back on him.

I felt him wrapping his arm around me. I didn't protest.
