not many emotions were rushing through hwanwoong's body at this moment but if he had to describe them he would've said that they felt like...
trust, love and safety.
he could not hold back the smile that was forming on his lips even if he wanted to. the male felt happy and his heart was surrounded by warmth as he looked at his sleeping boyfriend with tired eyes.
he had only woken up, left the land of dreams only a few minutes ago and as peaceful and pretty his dream was, the thing that was waiting for him in reality was so much more worth witnessing.
hwanwoong gently brushed youngjo's bangs away. they had gotten on the taller's face and hwanwoong was afraid that once he would open them he would feel bothered by his hair poking his eyes. the blond male giggled inaudibly at the thought and let his mind drift away again.
his fingers ghosted over youngjo's jawline, slowly down to his neck where a love bite showed its existence. hwanwoong eyed it for a few seconds — it wasn't huge but it was still visible and the memory of last night caused butterflies to go crazy in the blond male's stomach.
hwanwoong's fingers went up to his boyfriend's lips and let them brush over them softly. he loved to think about how different those lips felt against his own the night before, how different they made him feel. he smiled at the fact that his touch must've tickled the taller because he was shifting slightly and a few seconds later hwanwoong was met with a pair of brown and very tired looking eyes.
the taller was just looking at hwanwoong. he looked as if his head was completely blank, as if there were no thoughts circulating in his mind at all... the blur was slowly disappearing in front of eyes and he was coming to his senses, and when thoughts actually started getting into his head he turned on his back and let the back of his hand rest on his forehead.
"good morning?" hwanwoong laughed.
youngjo just hummed and closed his eyes.
"what's wrong?"
"i... uh- nothing." he answered, his voice still croaky and tired and hwanwoong perked an eyebrow.
"are you okay?"
the smaller was able to see that a very weak blush tinted youngjo's cheek and when the taller looked at him for just a split second he decided to say it as subtle as possible. "i just remembered that i had a... pretty wild dream, that's all."
youngjo kept avoiding hwanwoong's gaze when he rolled back into his previous position, facing hwanwoong again and he seemed like he just wanted to go back to sleep by the way he shut his eyes close. the smaller snorted and couldn't help but laugh.
