That very night after the meeting, Miho and her Vice commanders took off aboard the transport plane flown by Aozora for the Sensha-do National High School drawing, as they were the required members to be in attendance for it.

Yet Ikeda was brought along even though she had step down from the role for Nishi. Miho's 1st-year crew also insisted on going with, not wanting to be separated from their commander, which made Tamada tease Miho about being their mother.

Nishi was the voice of reason, and convince Miho to bring them along as well, much to the excitement and gratitude of the 1st years.

Tamada won the bet with Ikeda for her sweet bun, as Aozora true to her nature of wanting to impress her team with her flying ability did three barrel rolls. It left her passengers in a fearful state for the rest of the flight to Aomori Prefecture in the Tohoku region, as is tradition to hold the national drawing in the winning prefecture, which in this case was Pravda High School.

After they landed, they tour the city a little, before heading for their assigned hotel. The night was filled with joking and pillow fights, as the girls couldn't keep down their excitement for the drawing, which the occupants in other rooms were quite displeased with all the ruckus.

Miho did her best to calm them down, but even if they held back recklessly charging on the battlefield, that didn't mean they didn't charge forward recklessly off it.

The next morning, Miho was awake at 5, now standing by her window looking out at the mist covering the city. She couldn't sleep any later into the day no matter how hard she tried, an effect of the disciplined lifestyle at Kuromorimine. If she were honest, she was glad for it since it meant she was never late for school.

Her current hotel room had two beds, which was supposed to allow her and her crew to sleep comfortably. Yet her 1st years all jump into the same bed with her, cuddling in mass, with Miho being buried under them. Turning back to the room now, she took in the sight of them all curled up under the sheets, Watabe was in the middle with Moteki holding her close, with the twins Nene and Nomi on either side of them.

It had taken a lot of work not to wake them as she slipped out of bed, though now she miss the warmth they provided. That warmth being something she was getting accustomed to as Miho spent more time with them, that she was increasingly grateful for as time went on, and admittedly something she felt she couldn't be without now.

Now turning back to the window Miho, turn her thoughts to something else. That something else was the National High School Drawing that would determine the matchups for the 63rd tournament. She wouldn't say she felt anxious for who she was going to face, more that she was anxious for stepping onto the stage and having everyone see her, and most importantly it be her former teammates of Kuromorimine who would see her.

She had left Kuromorimine without a word to any of her other teammates. Miho felt they didn't want to talk to her anyway, since she had lost the final for them. Though Maho had told her there were some who respected her action, at the time, Miho didn't feel confident to face them still. Even now she didn't feel confident to see them, since all but her sister, would most likely scowl at her for being the one who lost them their title.

A sudden ringing from her phone got her attention. She quickly pick up the phone before it woke the others.

"Hello," Miho said.

"Good morning Miho," Maho said, her voice sounding pleasant.

The younger Nishizumi felt elated to hear her sister's voice. "Good morning, it's good to hear from you."

"You too, say can you come to meet me? There is a small park just down the way from your motel," Maho said.

Miho had to suppress a yelp in her voice. "How do you know which motel I am staying at?" Knowing that all teams stay at separate hotels.
