Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,
Teach us something please,
Whether we be old and bald,
Or young with scabby knees,
Our heads could do with filling,
With some interesting stuff,
For now they're bare and full of air,
Dead flies --Ron didn't know what the hell was wrong with him. Ever since he woke up in the morning, the stupid song had been stuck in his head.
How much ever he did hate the song, he had to agree that the tune was very catchy. He had been humming it to himself the whole morning, and when Ginny caught him, she was stared at him funny.
But what really was troubling Ron was them looking for something connected to Erebus. That didn't just sit right with him. Like seriously. When they were looking for Horcruxes, they knew it would help defeat Voldemort but what would finding something of Erebus' help them.
He sighed.
"What's troubling you?" Percy asked, more like drawled as he started walking with Ron. Ron like the bloke. Percy was funny and laid back, nothing like Ron's uptight brother Percy.
"Nothing," said Ron, "I just don't get what are we even planning to do? The fight with those bloody spiders was scary enough, do we have to go deeper into the forest?" Percy didn't reply. He just smiled at Ron, patted his back and walked a bit faster to catch up with Nico. Ron frowned. Percy asked a question and left without the answer. How rude.
"What up big bro?" Ginny asked, bumping her shoulder with his. Ron grinned. Since ginny was younger than him, he loved to annoy her. "Nothing much Shorty." She hit him. Quite hard. He laughed, which caused Harry to join them, grinning and asking, "Troubling my friend again Weasley?"
Ginny frowned.
"Must you always side with him?" She asked. Harry grinned and nodded vigorously. Ginny shook her head pitifully and slacked a bit to talk with Hermione. Ron laughed and so did Harry. For a minute, it was just like the old times, just the two of them, laughing for no reason at all.
"You know Harry," Ron started. "You have been acting weird lately. You know cut off." Harry sighed and looked at Ron.
"You know everything don't you?" He asked. Ron smiled and said, "Well not everything . . . but many things. Just tell me what. Maybe I can help. In my own weird way."
Harry sighed. He was reluctant. Ron didn't understand why Harry was acting like this. "It's the necklace." Ron raised his eyebrows. Harry fished out a shiny necklace from his pocket. It was beautiful with a red ruby pendant. "Some thing is wrong with this. I just have a bad feeling." Harry said.
"Where did you get it?" Ron asked.
"Dervish and Banges." replied Harry. " I found it on a table ov-" Harry hissed and dropped the necklace. Ron grabbed his hand and saw a burnt marked on his hand.
" The necklace burned you?" Ron asked Harry. Harry nodded. They crouched down and saw a very small skull mark on it. Ron looked at Harry, scared.
*******
"You couldn't have told something earlier?" Percy hissed at Harry. Ron figured Percy would have been a lot less scarier if he was just screaming.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know what the necklace did." Harry protested, though Ron could see Harry looked guilty, so he went over and patted his shoulder. Percy however still looked worried out his mind. He stumbled a bit, and Hermione and Ginny helped him sit down on the grass.
Ron sighed. Nico had never looked so pale and he had never seen Percy this worried, only seen him laughing and cracking jokes.
"What do we do?" Ginny asked, crouching beside Harry. Percy sighed and rubbed his eyes. "There is only thing we can do. I love Nico and it is the only way he can wake up." Percy looked at Nico with tears in his eyes. Nico had collapsed has soon as the skull had appeared on the necklace and they made the connection that Nico's power was draining through the necklace.
"What can we do?"
Percy sighed and replied, "Take you guys to Camp Half Blood."
