"Sorry if we disturbed your sleep..."

Jamie studied their looks.

The man had short white (fluffy) hair, pale skin, light blue eyes, he was taller than Jamie...actually he was way too tall. Maybe roughly around 6'8? Or even 7...

The guy wore a black button up shirt and matching pants, he had a navy-blue tie and a weird looking pin.

The girl she had a dark brown messy pixie cut, light tan skin, dark brown eyes shieled behind round pair of glasses. She wore an oversized black hoodie and matching baggy shorts, with white bunny slippers.

Jamie softly smiled "cute slippers, name's Jamie, I just moved here today."

"thanks" the girl replied, albeit a bit dead.

"Welcome to the building Jamie, I'm Adrian, this is April, my girlfriend. We made you some baked goods as a welcoming gift! I hope you're not allergic to chocolate chip cookies." Adrian said.

April rolled her eyes when Adrian said she was his girlfriend.

Jamie slowly nodded, not believing Adrian but ignored it.

"Thanks for the cookies, I would love to invite you in but...I need to get ready for work," Jamie said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Oh it's fine, April has to leave for work soon too, so we were just dropping by then leave." Adrian replied.

"Maybe I'll invite you over the weekend? Whenever you'll be available of course!" Jamie said taking the covered plate filled with cookies from Adrian.

"That'll be splendid, If you're available this weekend, we can come over-Ow hey..." Adrian said, but groaned when April elbowed em.

"I'm so sorry if he's annoying you, you don't have to invite us if it's too much pressure." April sighed, glaring at Adrian.

Jamie chuckled and shook his head, "It's no pressure, I'm actually new to the city, so It'll be nice to have a friendly face around..."

April just nodded and Adrian mentally cried as she ignored him, mumbling 'so mean' to himself.

"Well I think we disturbed you enough, you said you a have job to catch up to, so we'll be leaving." April said and was dragging Adrian away, who was waving goodbye to Jamie.

Jamie waved but then it hit him, and he called out.

"Um, wait!"

April stopped dragging Adrian and looked over her shoulder at Jamie, and tilting her head.

"I was wondering if you guys know the directions to the local cemetery?" Jamie asked, confused.

April fully turned to look at Jamie, "You mean the Invia cemetery."

Jamie looked surprised at April, and opened his mouth to ask, but Adrian beat em to it.

"We know the place cause it's the only cemetery here that's close." Adrian said, shrugging.

"Plus, I work there too, I'll show you the easiest way to get there if you want." April suggested.

Jamie smiled and nodded "That'd be great, when do you leave for work?"

April shrugged, "my shift starts at 11pm, but I usually leave around seven or whenever, I was actually gonna get ready to leave."

Jamie nodded "Okay, then can you please give me an hour maximum to get ready?"

"Sure dude, take your time, I'm in no rush. If your done just knock-on apartment 237. We're in the same floor anyways..." she mumbled the last part.

(if you get that reference, then you deserve a cookie as too)

After their little chitchat they left, and Jamie walked back in putting the cookies in the kitchen counter and hurried to his room to get a towel to shower, getting ready for work. He doesn't want to keep April waiting too long since it'll be rude, and he already feels bad that he's keeping her waiting.
