"What do we do?" A troll questioned.

"We're all going to die!" Another troll called out.

"Everyone, calm down! We're not going to die!" Jim called to attention.

"I'll go let the others know what's happening, and then I'll open a portal big enough to get everyone out," Claire said confidently.

"Alright," Jim nodded.

Claire disappeared and appeared above the surface.

"Claire! The gyre station doors closed!" Toby exclaimed, running up.

"I know! I'm about to portal everyone here, so stand back!"

Claire held her hands forward, concentrating on opening a portal.

"What's happening?" Blinky asked after a minute.

"I-I'm spent," Claire whispered, looking at her hands.

"What do you mean?" Steve asked.

"I'm spent! I'm out of magic!" Claire exclaimed. "I can't open a portal to get there or back!"

The group gasped.

"The changelings are breaking the door down! They have no way to get out in time!" Claire panicked. "This is all my fault!"

"No, this isn't your fault," Blinky frowned worriedly. "I'm sure we can figure out a way to save them. We have to."

"Why hasn't Claire come back?" Jim paced and glanced nervously at the sealed-off gate.

"I don't know, but we need to get out of here," Douxie said, summoning his staff. "Aperta!"

The gyre door remained sealed.

"What did you try to do?" Vendel asked, looking at Douxie.

"I tried to open the door," Douxie frowned. "It didn't work."

"Those doors not even a gyre can breakthrough, much less magic. We paid extra for it, but I never thought it would be used against us," Vendel sighed.

"So we're trapped down here?" Jim asked.

"Seems so. We need to prepare for the changelings when they break down the door. It isn't going to hold much longer."

"We need to think of something. Anything!" Claire repeated. "We have to save them!"

"We could tunnel down really fast to the station!" Steve suggested. Claire didn't respond and continued pacing.

Angor was close by and gazed at his staff. Angor then stared at the trolls around him and then at the group.

"I know what to do," Angor whispered.

"What do we do?" Blinky asked. Angor shook his head.

"You don't do anything. I'll do it," Angor replied. "Keep the trolls safe."

Before anyone could say anything, Angor disappeared into a portal.

"Angor!" Claire called out.

Angor appeared in the station, and his eyes fell onto an exhausted-looking Jim. He was clutching his side and looking worriedly at the group of trolls left in the station.

"Trollhunter," Angor called out.

"Angor!" Jim exclaimed, limping over to Angor. "What happened to Claire?"

"Her magic has run dry," Angor informed. "But don't worry, I'll get you all out of here."

Angor began to move towards the center of the station.
