"NANDINI NANDINI" Navya's excited squeal reached Nandini's ears and she looked at her questioningly. "Guess what?! I got a call from Haute Fashion Manik Malhotra wants to hire our agency as their Marketing advisor!" Nandini's eyes widened hearing the absolutely unexpected news. 
                          
"Are you sure?" Asked a confused Nandini. "Yes Nandy, but they have one condition" replied Navya. "Of course, how can I even expect decisions of Manik Malhotra to be straight and simple. Anyway, what's the condition?" 
                          
"Since we have one more project to handle so they want you to look after their project whereas I will handle the one with Marbles Shine" Navya said, hesitant to share this with Nandini. 
                          
"What?! But why, you handle this one and I'll handle the other one." Nandini said confidently. 
                          
"Please Nandy, please please." Navya said folding her hands before Nandini and coming up with the best version of her puppy face. Finally melting looking at her friend requesting so much, Nandini nodded. "Fine, but remember one thing. I won't change my plans according to his convenience" Nandini said firmly. "I love youuu" Navya pounced on her saying this and engulfed her in a quick hug.

Next Morning, 
                          
Haute Fashion 
                          
Nandini entered the building. Although it wasn't a very lavish or huge one, but the work place was decent enough for a startup. 
                          
"Welcome Ms.Murthy" Nandini turned back to be greeted by Anaya. She passed her a warm smile. " As you can see, this is an open office so there are no rooms or cabins. You can find any place that suits you and settle there." She bent towards Nandini's ear and whispered in a hush hush tone," except for that far right corner, it's reserved for Mr. Malhotra" Nandini nodded her head and proceeded to find a comfortable and cozy place. While walking around, she exchanged pleasantries with a few of her new colleagues. Not finding a suitable place, she settled on a bean bag, keeping her bag on a vacant chair kept besides her. She opened her laptop and started working, or atleast started trying to work as the bean bag didn't prove to be a good option and above that, one of her colleague had also placed her bag down as she wanted to use the chair. 
                          
Standing at the far right corner, Manik noticed Nandini shifting here and there uncomfortably on the bean bag. 
                          
"I have been noticing since quite a few minutes, you look uncomfortable here." Nandini's eyes snapped at the person due to the sudden remark. Her eyes froze at her new boss who was looking dashing in a navy blue suit piece with a rust coloured tie. " Umm, did I hear you right? You have been NOTICING ME" asked Nandini with a teasing smile. 
                          
"I..I mean..I didn't mean it that way, I.." Manik answered hesitantly. " That's fine, I am just messing with you" Nandini said laughing slightly. Manik too smiled back at her. "So?", said Nandini with a raised eyebrow. "So come with me, I'll show you the perfect place for you" Manik said giving her a hand to get up. She too took his hand and turned back to pick up her belongings but before she could have bend down, Manik did it for her. "It's alright, you hold the laptop, I will bring all this" Nandini smiled at him, "devil turned angel" Nandini muttered to herself and followed him. He brought her to a table right besides his. The only separation between the two tables was a window covered by wooden blinds.
