Carina didn't sleep much during the night. Every time she got settled in and tried to drift off, her mind wandered to their future. Last night, she had searched for engagement rings and single-family homes on her laptop. She remembered leaving her laptop open on the coffee table and when Maya woke her up, it was closed. All she could think about was whether Maya had seen it. 
                          
The doctor had also drafted an email to Dr. Bailey about resigning from her job. She wanted to be a mother who was fully present for Josie. However, she loved her career. The Italian really did not know what to do. She knew that she had to talk to Maya about everything, but the thought of the conversation only increased her anxiety. 
                          
Carina checked her phone to see that it was 5:30am. Their alarms would be going off in half an hour. The doctor had a twelve hour shift in front of her and Maya was starting a 24 hour shift at 8:00am. 
                          
The light from her cell phone caused the small blonde next to her to stir. The doctor set her cell phone down and rolled closer to her. Maya was lying on her side and faced the opposite direction from Carina. The Italian placed several small kisses down her lover's bare back. Even though Maya was still asleep, Carina watched the goosebumps on her pale body start to rise. 
                          
Carina wiggled herself under the sheets and softly pressed on Maya's hip to force her to lay flat on her back. The blonde started to slowly wake up. Carina spread Maya's legs apart when she felt the comforter fly off. The firefighter had thrown the comforter off of them to get a closer look at what was going on. 
                          
"Oh shit," Maya said, breathlessly as she saw her girlfriend positioned between her legs. Carina looked up at her, with her face between her legs, and winked. Both women had started to always sleep naked, regardless of the night's activities. This gave the Italian easier access to what she craved most. 
                          
Carina roughly ran her tongue through Maya's folds. "You are already so wet for me, bella," she said between licks. 
                          
Maya lifted her head slightly off the pillow. In her rough sleepy voice, she said, "It's because I dreamt of you."
                          
This turned both of the women on even more. Maya reached down and ran her fingers through Carina's dark brown curls. She pressed on her head which forced her to become even closer to her. Carina buried her face into Maya and licked ferociously, only stopping when she had to come up for air. 
                          
The blonde threw her head back and took her hands off of Carina's hair. She started to tease her own nipples to increase her own pleasure. Maya rolled her hardened nipples between her thumb and index fingers. This, mixed with Carina sucking on her clit, proved to be too much for the blonde.
                          
Her moans grew increasingly louder and louder. Carina placed her one free hand on Maya's pelvic bone and pressed down to increase the ecstasy coursing through her body.

Their alarm hadn't gone off yet, which meant Carina wasn't done.

Maya didn't know what had gotten into her girlfriend, but she wasn't upset by it. She loved when she got a little daring with her choice of words in the bedroom. The blonde put her hand behind Carina's head and pulled her down for another deep kiss.
