The Prime Minister stood up straighter and walked up to the microphone to speak. He looked around the room, in the far back were some top level heroes like Endeavour and Hawks. He took a deep breath and started the conference. "I called todays press conference to talk about my two adopted sons; Izuku and Hitoshi. Who I had adopted only to force them in to being hitmen as I saw the skills they had." The room was quiet except for Izuku's speaker and the one Hitoshi wore as well. "You may have seen on the news that Izuku murdered someone who you may have known, but he would never take an innocent life, instead news articles about him were fake and only helped him to infiltrate villainous groups." He paused and took a look at the reporters in the room, waiting for him to continue. "But take pride in knowing that your friends and loved ones did not die without vengeance. Izuku avenged them by taking the life of the ones who really killed those you knew. Izuku was only a government hitman, nothing more, but he was one of the best at his job and on numerous occasions, saved me and so many more people. So take it from me, Izuku means no harm to the innocent people of Japan, nor the rest of the worlds innocent. And even though he was finished his job as a hitman, he still put his life on the line without being told to, to save our Emperor Naruhito." The prime minister paused again to take a breath. "Izuku and Hitoshi have saved and helped so many people, and yet they could have left far before I forced them into this job. They both in the end truly did their best. I can only hope the people of the world can see this too." He finished and got to the questions.

The first reporter to ask question was a woman with brown hair and dyed blond tips and a Russian sounding accent, she spoke fluent Japanese despite her accent. "How long have Izuku and Hitoshi been forced to work?" She asked, the Prime Minister pondered for a second before replying. "Both Izuku and Hitoshi have been working for almost three years." She jotted something down on her notepad and sat back down.

The next journalist to get a question was a man who looked to be from China, and some of the words he said were a combination of Chinese to Japanese. "How many people would you say that both of them have saved?" The reporter asked. Before the Prime Minister could answer, Hawks stood up. "Hey everyone." He said to get their attentions, everyone looked to the back of the room. "I hope this isn't rude of me to say." He looked to Endeavour who sat next to where he stood. "But I do believe, if I'm not mistaken." He really dragged on the topic, looking back to the many reporters. "Izuku has saved more people than me and Endeavour combined, and of course Hitoshi has done nearly the same." This statement shocked all the reporters who quickly began to scribble down on their notepads, while he people watching the live conference sat at home in utter shock.

After the questions, Izuku was about to leave but saw the opportunity to say one last thing. He walked up to the microphone, sparking interest in the reporters and journalists. He took a deep inhale and said "You may not like me, but Hitoshi and I are two of the small few who are able to take the risk and kill villain rather than putting them in prison and have them escape." He sighed. "I am no longer going to be a tool for the government. I want to live the rest of my life now if I can." And with that Izuku turned and left the conference room, brushing past his step father.

The next few days went by fast, Izuku had been avoiding the news and press, as well as most other people by staying in his portal dimension with Hitoshi, Shouto, Katsuki, and Eijiro. He eventually even got a text from his doppelganger, it had said that because of Izuku's request to keep Touya out of prison, he was instead sent to a hospital setting, and it just happened to be the same hospital Rei had been sent to.

Izuku knew where Rei had been staying in both universes as he used mind reading and other tactics he had learned on the job to find where certain people and things were. So in the end Izuku had invited Shouto to come with him to meet Rei after many years, the last time Shouto had seen his mother was when she poured boiling water on his face. But Shouto had forgiven his mother years ago, he had wanted to meet her again for years and was happy that his husband, Izuku, had now given his the opportunity.

They decided to take the train to the hospital, the ride wouldn't be long, but it was more time that Shouto and Izuku got to spent together. The other passengers on the train were obviously uncomfortable with Izuku but he ignored it. There was now a picture that had surfaced on Twitter with the caption 'Izuku and Endeavour's son, Shouto talking the train together.' They continued to talk and joke around until they reached the hospital.

"You still ok with doing this, Shouto?" Izuku asked. Shouto smiled and nodded. "Yeah, Izuku, I think I am." He confidently replied. Once they got inside, they found the room that Rei was staying in from what one of the secretaries had said. "Well this is it Shouto." Izuku said, gesturing to the plain white door in front of them. Shouto hummed in responce. "Thank you again, Izuku, for everything." He said looking Izuku in the eyes. Then he turned to the door and slid it open.

Izuku waited outside, watching hospital staff walk by him whispering to the other staff who they had been walking with. Izuku was happy that Shouto was finally able to reconnect with his family after all of what Endeavour had done. He was constantly holding back from killing the number one hero, but that wouldn't go over well.

Eventually, Rei got to meet Izuku, and she understood his predicament. Rei was very happy thought to see that both Shouto and Izuku had found each other and were happy to be together.

Once Izuku and Shouto got back to Izuku's place, they decided to cuddle on one of the living room couches and watch some movies together. In the middle of one of the movies, Izuku noticed, on one of the nearby shelves, a mask used for masquerade balls. It had a light blue colouring with so many fine details, it had bells, painted designs, and feathers. One of the bells had been reflecting the light of the sun and Izuku just had to notice it. Izuku remembered that he got it when Shouto and him went to Paris. He stood up and walked over to the shelf, leaving Shouto on the couch by himself. "Are you ok Izuku?" Shouto asked, sitting up and pausing the movie. Izuku picked up the mask and put it up to his face, and turned to see Shouto. "How do I look?" He asked again with a smile. "Fantastic." Shouto responded, walking over to Izuku. Shouto wrapped his arms around Izuku's waist and pulled him in for a kiss.

I hope everyone liked the last chapter. Reused some of the lines from previous chapters, like that second last line where Izuku had asked Shouto how he looked with the mask. It originally came from Chapter 4 if anyone wants to go back and reread. All that's left in the epilogue and that's gonna be short. Feel free to comment, vote, or follow. Have a great day.
