"No problem anything for my nephew and his, friend" Colleen said, she sounded weird when she said friend. It was almost like she knew something they didn't.
"Okay guys sight problem, this house is a two bedroom so you two will have to share a room."
"That's okay" Clay said "Right George?"
"Yeah that's not a problem."
"Okay good, the room is upstairs to the right" Colleen said "I'll make dinner since the air plane food must've been terrible."
"Okay" George said.
George followed Clay up the stairs to the room. Clay opened the room door. The room had dark blue walls, matching the bed sheets. There was a nice desk in the corner, Clay set the bags on the bed. Even though George has seen this room before there was a log of changes. Clay noticed a nice bathroom, and there was a big walk-in closet.
"Clay you know you don't have to put on a act for my aunt" George said.
"I'm not putting on a act, everything I said was the truth."
"It was?" George said.
"Yeah, you know George I'm not always the big bad wolf you think I am" Clay said.
"I don't-"
"Forget it" Clay walked out of the room.
Clay walked down the stairs and he saw George's aunt making dinner.
"I chose spaghetti, I hope that's fine?" Colleen said looking at Clay.
"Yeah the fine, do you need any help?" Clay asked.
"No thanks, you can look around if you want."
"Okay" Clay gave Colleen a nice smile, then he looked at the family photos.
There was a photo of George and her, and more photos of people. Of people Clay didn't recognize that George could. Clay picked up a photo of George's dad and aunt and some other guy, she noticed.
George went down a few stairs and stopped because he heard voices...
"Who's in this photo?" Clay asked.
"Thats me, George's dad, and my other brother" Colleen said "I'm the youngest."
"Do you have any siblings Clay?"
George heart dropped, he felt terrible. Clays family died in a fire many years ago, the only family member by blood is Drista.
"Yeah two of them" Clay said "My eldest brother died in a fire with my parents when I was young, I'm the middle child."
"Oh, I'm sorry" Colleen said.
"It's okay" Clay said "I wonder what they would be doing if they were still alive."
"I'm sure to would be admiring how much to have grown up, into the man you are today" Colleen said "You know what, would you like to help me with dinner?"
"Sure,"
Clay set the photo down and walked to the kitchen and washed his hands. Colleen gave instructions for what Clay should do.
George stood there for a bit, thinking. He snapped out of thought and went downstairs.
"Hi George, we're making spaghetti" His aunt Colleen said, but Clay kept cooking.
"Okay" George said.
"If you want to George, you can set up the dining table."
"Sure" George said "I'd love to."
1 hour later...
Clay was in the room changing his clothes for the night. George opened the door as Clay took off his shirt, his side was towards George. George noticed a ink marking on the side of Clays arm, it was in shape of an arrow.
"What, you just gonna stare?" Clay asked.
"Since when did you have a tattoo?" George looked at Clay.
"For a while now, I have three of them" Clay said "One on my arm, one on my ankle, and another one one my wrist."
"How come I didn't notice?" George asked.
"Cause your blind."
"Whatever" George rolled his eyes "What does the arrow mean?"
"I don't know really, just wanted one at the time" Clay said "I can show you my other ones if you want me too."
"Sure" George said.
Clay showed George his wrist, George looked at it carefully. It said 'K.H.L.C.D' in that exact order, what does it mean.
"It's my family, in order."
"Oh" George said.
Clay sat down and held up his ankle, it was another tattoo "And that's my last one."
This tattoo was different from the others, it looked like a rose losing petals.
(Something like this, including the date)
The tattoo was pretty and George looked up at Clay "What does the date mean?"
"2/3/16."
"It means nothing" Clay put down his ankle and stood up, walking past George grabbing a shirt.
"It's about Violet, isn't it?" George said, and Clays head dropped down.
"How'd you know?" Clay said.
"You never talk about her, so I put two and two together."
"It kills me how smart you are" Clay said "And it's quite pissing me off."
"I piss you off on a daily everyone does, there's nothing new to that" George said.
"Whatever" Clay said.
George sat in the chair and his turned on the desk lamp, Clay then turned off the main light and he got into bed. George worked on a few cases, before he has to find Athena.
"Goodnight" Clay said, and George turned around in the chair.
"Goodnight Clay."
