I learned to cook from Lisa's Mum when I was fifteen and she was teaching Lisa how to cook. We were watching a marathon of Teen Wolf when she dragged us, Lisa mostly, to the kitchen. We cooked lasagna, mac and cheese, and meatballs. Mr. Jones came home that day and was marveled as to how his daughters were in the kitchen and it was still standing. Dinner was great, and Lisa and I grew an interest to learn to cook more often. It became a tradition for Lisa and I to cook dinner every third weekend of the month.

"You should become a chef," Harvey said with a mouthful of my chicken butter curry. "You are amazing at it." I laughed and bowed my head.

"You should ask Lisa to cook for you too. Her lasagna is amazing," I took a bite out of my chicken. I found the boys in my house when I dropped off Dylan. The flowers that they were arguing about were mine, because I found them in a vase on the kitchen island.

"How was breakfast with your Mum," Bruce took a sip of his water.

"Fine. I guess I really missed her that I have no grudge on her, even after Dexton and all. She was supposed to be here but I don't know where she is," I said.

"Did your Dad show?" Harvey asked. I shook my head and took the used dishes to the sink.

"I think he wants to meet you and Marvin alone without your Mum," Harvey said.

That made sense. Dad won't want to talk to us about that article with Mum around. But I he owes her an explanation just as much as we need it. I carefully put the dishes in the dishwasher and walked to the living room. Bruce and Harvey were trying to figure out what movie to watch.

"We watched Justice League last month," Harvey said.

"Yes, it was amazing. Fine, how about Suicide Squad?" Bruce grabbed the remote and read the description.

"It's too unreal."

"And Justice League was unreal. It's the right amount of fiction," Bruce retorted. I came between and grabbed the remote.

"How old are you two, six? Two seventeen-year-olds can't agree on a movie?" They went silent for a moment. "For that, I'm choosing a movie." I sat on the sofa and scrolled through the movies.

"But you always choose weird cheesy movies like Five Feet Apart?" Bruce sat next to me.

"We were at the cinema and Abby chose the movie. And you silently liked it," I told him. "How about... Midnight Sun? Sounds nice." I looked at Harvey and he raised his hands in surrender.

"I would watch whatever you want. Besides, the last time we were here, Bruce chose Caroline," Harvey leaned into the sofa.

"That movie was great and you know it," Bruce threw a piece of popcorn to Harvey. I just hit Play and grabbed the bowl of popcorn from Bruce.

"I'm dealing with six-year-olds." I muttered to myself.

The movie was really nice. The main character had a disease that would kill her if she was in the sun, which is sad if you ask me. She could never able to be with a guy she had a crush on because he would want to ask to meet during the day and that would kill her. In the end, she ended up with him, but she died. Once the credits began to show, I glanced up at Bruce and he looked like he was going to flood the house with his tears.

"You need a tissue," I asked.

"No," he sniffed. "I just have something in my eye."

"They are called tears," Harvey and I said at the same time.

"Could I go to the gaming room before I leave," Harvey stood up and took the bowl for a refill.

"Sure! I was there sometime back so the Xbox and PS4 are in the drawers with the games," I threw him the key to the room. He whispered something to Bruce before leaving and they both laughed. He waved and walked down stairs. Bruce walked up stairs and I thought he would go left to Marvin's room but he turned right.
