You can't believe what you've just watched. Atsumu was all over Nori like you had never even existed. Almost as though you were just another captive that he was forced to take care of. Does he always toy with girls like this?
                          
You sit quietly on the side of the room as the others rejoice. They're all happy because of the contract the boss signed. Apparently, with Kita's signature, Shiratorizawa secured rights to Sakusa and a huge portion of Inarizaki's property. You can hardly believe it even happened.
                          
Soon, the boss arrives with Nori and the other girls. Everyone cheers. Nori's eyes catch onto yours and she waves. You only stare back emotionless. You sit for awhile alone with your thoughts until a man steps in front of you. Looking up, you're met with the boss' equally emotionless eyes.
                          
"What do you think?" he asks, "Are you happy with the results of the meeting?"
                          
You smile a fake grin, hoping to give him the answer he's looking for so then he'll leave you alone. "I can't believe it!" you giggle.
                          
Unfortunately for you, the boss sees right through you. He kneels down to your level and looks you dead in the eye. "I know it's hard for you because you were there for so long but, Y/N, you belong here. We are your family, not them. You know that don't you?"
                          
"Of course," you nod to reassure him.
                          
The boss attempts to smile as he leans towards you. You watch him, fully aware of what he's about to do, but stay frozen from shock. When his lips meet with your own, your eyes widen. His lips are soft and warm, the slightest taste of chapstick lingering, but you're unable to enjoy it. Never have you had the intention to kiss the boss, as attractive as he is, especially not now after watching what went down between Atsumu and Nori.
                          
When he pulls back, he looks at you sincerely. "I'll be here if you need to talk."
                          
With that, he stands up, and you're left to wonder if he meant what he said. You ignore what he does after that for a moment, too busy lost in thought, until his hand extends out to you.
                          
"Come with me," he says quietly.
                          
You look up, hoping that you've misheard him, but damn are you wrong. His face stays one-hundred percent solemn and genuine as he waits for you to take his hand. You wish you could say no, to reject him right then and there, but he's the boss. You wouldn't even dream of pissing him off on purpose.
                          
In the end you take his hand and stand up. He leads you out of the room and walks you past Goshiki's medical room into an area you've never been. You begin to get worried, what could he possibly be up to? Does he know everything that happened between you and Atsumu? Stressed from overthinking, you don't pay too much to your surroundings as the boss opens a door. Only when he brings you inside and stops walking do you freak out. It's his room.
                          
"Y/N," his voice breaks the burning silence as he turns to face you, "I don't do good with expressing myself... but I did miss you."
                          
Frantically, you shake your head and pull out of the grasp he's got you in. "Boss, I... I don't want to have sex with you if that's what you're planning to do with me."
                          
The boss looks at you worriedly and perhaps seems even a bit flustered. "I'm sorry," his voice shakes, "I don't mean to make you uncomfortable. I don't wish to force you into doing anything you don't want to do." Upon hearing that, your shoulders relax. "I just want you to stay- to stay with me. That way I'll know they can't take you again."
                          
He then takes your hand and leads you to his bed. There, you find a pair of women's pajamas laid out neatly on one side.
                          
"They're for you," he says gently. "You can keep them no matter what." Again, your body tenses up and he's quick to notice. "Please, Y/N, I just wish for you to stay."
                          
The pleading look in his eyes is almost too much for you to bear. Who knew Shiratorizawa's boss had this big a soft spot for an uninspiring girl like you? 
                          
"Okay," you sigh as you step towards the bed. It's best to stay on his good side for now to make sure he trusts you. "I'm going to the bathroom to change."
                          
The boss nods and points you to the other door connected to his room. You grab the clothes and thank him on your way out. Inside, you change and look at yourself in the mirror. Reflected in the glass you see a tired version of yourself staring back. Her face is in a slight frown as she looks numb to all feelings. Hoping to fix her, you splash some water on your face and avoid meeting her gaze on your way out.
                          
Back in the boss' room, you find him sitting under the covers of his bed. He pulls back the sheets on the other side and ushers you to sit beside him.
                          
"Thanks," you say quietly as you slide into the covers.
                          
The boss nods and twists his body to turn off the lights. "Goodnight," he says as the room goes dark.
                          
"Goodnight," you reply as you sink down into the blankets.
                          
You turn your body to the side, rolling away from him as you stare into the black abyss of the room. There's no way you can fall asleep like this. 
                          
After awhile you hear light snores from the boss' side of the bed. Rolling over again, you find him dead asleep on the other side. 
                          
This sucks, you say to yourself as you twist once again to look up at the ceiling. I can't sleep. Why the hell do I need to sleep here anyway?!
                          
Despite your angered thoughts, you close your eyes and give a good attempt at drifting off to sleep.
