The story began right before the train home of Harry's sixth year and a few days after the war. The events between these timelines were completely different from the canon. Some other events were also squeezed from before this story started to fit some events. And I found that there are actually things that are not in line or referenced from the canon. These things mostly include places.
                          
I believed that somehow the Author was greatly confused with the location of Hogs Meade, Diagon Alley, and some stores. Some events were also related to the canon but I think, not referenced or just maybe made that way to fit the story.
                          
The writing was actually great. But the feeling it gave was somewhat not satisfying. The idea was somewhat unique, the things that were introduced were thoroughly explained, and events were coherent and fluid. It just lacks a bit of suspense or element of surprise as the events leading to the war made me feel like it was too smooth sailing when in fact, the Author has laid out challenges and conflicts along the way.
                          
So with that said, I would say that the deduction to the rating was mostly due to personal reasons.
