Dennis was too stubborn to resist doing something stupid but he tried as much as possible to not do so, also trying his best to avoid bumping into his friends or his past self
"Good morning sir" "morning Dennis was hoping you would take your last exam, seen has you are not willing to get serious with your life" like he wanted to take it he just needed to graduate so he can be free from studying and his parents banter about how careless he is with his studies "I wouldn't miss for the world sir" "ok, does everyone have their question papers on their table!!" "yes sir!!" they all chorused "as you all know two hours prompt you may begin!!"
In the middle of the exam, everything went smoothly but then suddenly one of the thugs that chased Dennis for the money he didn't pay them saw him through the window so he went and called the rest of the gang members to come and stampede to the class
"Freaking Dennis!!" "what's the meaning of this!!" the lecturer scolded, but was threatened with a gun to his head to keep mute "well well well D man where's my money brooo" mocking Dennis at the same time threatening him "come on zak I told you I will get the money I just need more time I will get it" in a scared tone
"Take him with us!" "zak come on am in the middle of an exam I need this come on" zak couldn't care less not even giving him a glare or turning to listen to him
Dennis tried as much as possible and to his luck, he hit the guy holding him with a hard punch and made a run for it trying to avoid as many crowds as possible to avoid meeting his past self and also to get to where make told him to meet him "Jake Jake!!" Trying to catch his breath he told him what happened and they hurriedly transported back
"Argh this always hurts my eyes" "dude what happens back there?!" "one of the gang bangers came and took me out of the exam so I made a run for it" "what did you do to them" "their my friends well so I thought so I made a bet of €5000 for a football match and they won I thought it was an easy way for me to get some fast cash you know" "oh my God!! Dennis why would you that?!! Gosh!!" "I made a mistake and it caught up to me" "hhhhh" "so when are you going to transport me back again?"
"Look Dennis I have other things to get doing I will do yours when am done with mine ok for now try and get the money to pay those thugs before I become a victim too" "hhhh" a sigh of disappointment and annoyance yawned through Dennis's face but what else can he do "ok bro thanks anyway" "now let's get inside before your thug friends give us a visit"

Jake woke up to the alarm of 8:00 he was late for his interview in Malcolm scientific development company (MSDC) a multimillion company that deals with robotics, developments, discoveries and all that he connected to one of their superiors through Anika's father, her father is the deputy president of the (MSDC) so Anika chirped in sole words for him to her dad and he came through for him "such a nice man" he said in his mind before rushing to the ensuite
"8:20 in good time" he got there faster than he reckoned, with full strides he went straight to the receptionist "ah! Jake Benjamin isn't it?" "yes" trying to catch his breath "your an half an hour late Mr. Benjamin follow me" as they were marching down to the managing director who is in charge of employees, he was admiring the 10 story building with scientific symbols and other historic designs all over the place he was eager to start working here
"Sir, you have a visitor" "ok let him in" furiously typing on his Imac before Jake came in "Good morning sir" trying to steady himself because of what he is seeing in front of him only one of the legends who constructed this marvelous company "oh Mr. Benjamin come in have a seat" "thank you sir" "erm your a little late but I will let you off the hook has a newcomer here, tardiness is highly unacceptable..erm let's begin shall we?" "Sorry sir it won't happen again" heading over his qualifications to the old legend
After briefing Jake's qualifications he started scrutinizing Jake in a manner Jake was not comfortable with "so you graduated high school with a distinctive result?" "yes sir has written there of course" "hm" Jake felt this slight disgust toward the man for asking him that kind of question what does he mean I brought the result with money or what
"Ok Mr. Benjamin I will let the president know of your presence here" "thank you sir" he shook off the disgusted look from his face immediately when he heard the reply of the MD knowing once he passed tho the rest is a sip of water at least that what he scrutinized
"Yes ok... Am sorry Jake but Mr.williams is having an urgent meeting right now you might want to come back tomorrow 7:00am sharp" Mr.williams my uncle no it can't be so could it be "ok thank you"
Could it be possible that my uncle is the new president of (MSDC) Jake was still in his thought when j almost bumped into someone "sorry" he said to the man and quickly left the building
"Oh well I will surely find out tomorrow" he said to himself before stopping a cab
"Babe" "yeah" "are you done with the interview did you get the job?" "no not yet what about you?" "not to brag but I got a job at (MSDC) has my father's assistant" "wow congrats are we going to celebrate?!" "yes we are don't miss it it's by 7:00pm am so excited!!" "i will surely make it"
Jake was happy for her but at the same time worried that she might find out things that he isn't ready for her to find out, just the way he is hoping that he finally lay the first stone on finding one of his uncles
