She smiled as the girl waved goodbye, waving her hand as well she watched Melody fade into the halls, it was just her — for the time being.

After having a jolly good time yesterday night and today morning, fairly everytime with Melody. Reality came back, Beth ringing up her phone to remind her to bring the girl back to the hospital and get working with her own patients.

So much work and responsibility, why did she have to be an adult — a doctor more less.

Tucking her hands away in her doctor’s coat she sighed turning her heels to her first patient of the day. To her tiresome long day of saving lives, doing something's the impossible.

“Someone’s in love!”

Choking on her drink Rose scanned the room for that familiar voice, tears blurring her vision as she continuously cough hitting her chest.

Feeling a light tap against her back Rose furrowed her eyebrows, turning her head a bit she came face to face with that pink hair.

“Is she denial Beth?” he asked forwarding his gaze to the short dark skinned nurse, the upper part of his lip curled into a smirk.

“Very denial Zane, very sad to watch.” she sighed, frowning she shook her head in disapproval towards Rose.

With a giggle the man beside her left and took a seat right beside Beth on the comfortable caution in the lounge, resting his feet above the small wooden table.

“Who is in love?”

Almost letting the bottle she hand fall Rose hissed, what was with people coming out of no where. Snapping her head she came to face yet another colleague a fellow female doctor, May.

Her perky smile pasted on her face as she rocked her feet back and forth against the floor a bit too happy, or interested at all for anything.

Her blonde locks of hair tied into a pony unlike Rose and her messy buns, she looked really presentable and enthusiastic for work. A doctor’s coat thrown over her casual clothing with her name tag hanging from the left pocket.

“Our little Rose flower, May!” Zane happily shouted his index finger pointing to Rose as the other nurse beside him seemed just as enthusiastic.

“Tell me more!” she squealed, walking past Rose into the room she sat beside Zane. Crossing her legs she sat intrigued and enticed, eager to hear more.

“What’s with all of you today!” Rose groaned walking up to the three friends she made, not just colleagues but real friends.

“We want to know how the date went!”

“She had a date?” Zane questioned staring at Rose frazzled.

Sharing the equally taken back face May turned to face Rose as well. “She went on a date?” her question was rather addressed to Beth but her full on attention was the blushing Rose.

Beth hummed, “Oh yes my friends, and I believe it went quite well. If you know what I’m saying.” smirking at them both she winked, well tried the best she could even if it looked like something got caught in her eye.

Rose chuckled shaking her head at Beth’s supposed wink. “First off, stop winking you look like you’re trying to get a fly out of there and second, we did not have sex. Slept in the same bed — yes, but nothing more.” she spoke with a bright smile.

“You kinda of hurt my feelings there.” the dark skinned woman pouted holding her chest as though she had been in pain of some sort.

Zane happily patted down on her knee giving her his most mocking smile. “Well Beth, you don’t know how to wink.” he teased trying to further on push her button.

Beth gasped then shook his hands off her knee that lead both Zane and Rose to laugh amusedly at.

“She looked cute even though!” May squealed staring at Beth with love and admiration in those blue orbs of her. Getting caught in her gaze Beth blushed looking down to her feet — a rather awkward atmosphere for the two watching.

“Just date already!” Zane coughed earning a death glare from both the women beside him, shruging he turned to Rose with a pleading look.“So Rose tell us more, I insist.”

Answering his plead Rose opened her mouth and spoke, “It was fun I had a good time. I always do with her.” she didn’t lie one bit, not an ounce. Everytime with that lovely girl was infact the best and the first.

“I think you forgot, I still don’t know who ‘her’ is?” May questioned furrowing her eyebrows to the group.

“Melody Tune!”

With a hum she leaned in closer to Rose, sitting just at the edge of the couch. “Was it the eyes or the charming personality?” May asked.

“The lips?” Zane questioned further leaning forward as well.

“Or her kisses all over—”

Shushing Beth she glared at the woman, “Don’t you even dare finish that sentence.” she spoke in a warning tone, watching Beth zip up her mouth with an invisible zip and throwing the key away Rose relaxed.

But her mind did not it went back to earlier, the embarrassing part of the day — she didn’t even know how or why, did her body want her touch that bad.

“I know that look, what happened Rosanna.” May mumbled staring at her face carrying debate, confusion and mostly embarrassment.

“Nothing!” she denied, the three of them hummed not at all believing her words. “Really nothing guys!” she lied again and earned twice the opposing hums, much louder in fact.

Rose sighed in defeat, covering her own face with her palms the girl mumbled. “Okay maybe something, I almost sort of had an — you know, because of her kisses.”

It wasn’t questions or surprised gasps she anticipated, it was their laughing — that annoying laughter and that she got.

Leaning against Zane’s arm May laughed holding her lower stomach, “How good does she kiss?” she questioned in-between laughs.

Shaking his head Zane tapping May on the knee, holding back his laughter he spoke. “Wrong question May, how long has she not gotten any? A decade?” he broke out laughing, so did the two women beside him.

Gripping Zane’s shoulder Beth cleared her throat trying her best to not break out laughing as she spoke. “Leave the poor girl alone, the engine is a bit rusty.” and again the three laughed their laughter filling up the room.

“I feel old!” Rose groaned shaking her head, so much for supportive friends.

“Your body is!” one of them shouted falling back on the couch as tears escaped their eyes, barely failing to hold in their laughs.

“Good for nothing friends!” Rose shouted throwing the tiny cushion beside her at them both.

“I’m getting second hand embarrassment from thinking about it!”

“Oh shut up!” she glared at the three laughing lunatics on the couch all on the verge of tears Zane more than the rest, a crazy group of friends she made.
