The night before our little staycation, things were different. Everything changed after that kiss. I just saw things in a new light. The fact that she knew how I felt now just changed my whole perspective. I still spent the night at Mina's place like usual, but this time, she didn't let me sleep on the floor. She wouldn't take no for an answer. 
                          
"Seriously. I'm okay on the floor. It's actually quite nice down here." I insist. 
                          
"Well you should try something different, at least just for one night." She says.
                          
"Mina, it's okay-"
                          
"Nope. Come. On." She grabs my arm and starts pulling me off of the floor.
                          
Eventually I stop trying to resist and I give in. 
                          
We both slept in her bed, which wasn't very big by the way. I was nervous and I didn't want to make things weird so I tried to stay as still as possible the entire night. We were basically right up against each other. It was dark and hard to see, but i could feel her with me. I felt like I was hogging up the space so I tried to curl up as much as possible. She let me sleep in her bed, I didn't want to make her uncomfortable.
                          
Eventually, I let myself relax and fall asleep. That was the nicest sleep I've gotten in a while. 
                          
I was the first one to wake up in the morning, but I didn't want to get out of bed just yet. When Mina's alarm clock goes off, I turn it off quickly before finally getting up. 
                          
Junsu started whining as soon as he realized I was up. Mina woke up with all the commotion. 
                          
"Morning." I say, "Did you sleep alright?" 
                          
She nods, rubbing her eyes, "Mhm. Did you?" 
                          
"I slept like a baby. Like this guy." I pick up Junsu to get him washed up and changed. 
                          
Today would be a busy day for us. We wanted to take Junsu to Seoul Grand Park for most of the day. Today was kind of cold so I made sure to pick out some appropriate clothes for him to wear. Mina recently bought him some cute new outfits so I decided to give one a try. 
                          
"Aw, look at you! You're so cute, Junsu!" I step back to see his complete outfit. 
                          
He laughs at my reaction, almost falling over, but I caught him in time. 
                          
We would be out for most of the day so we made sure to bring everything that Junsu needed for the day. 
                          
It was a weekday so the park wasn't too crowded. I was holding Junsu as we walked in and around. It looked like he was a bit overwhelmed. He held onto my shirt, turning his head every which way. 
                          
There were a lot of families there with their little kids. They were little, but most of them were bigger than Junsu. We couldn't take him on any of the rides, but it was still fun to walk around and see everything. 
                          
At some point while we were walking around, Mina held my hand. It surprised me at first, but when I looked over at her, she just kept looking straight ahead. After that, I wasn't afraid to be the one to take her hand. 
                          
The park was themed for Christmas and winter. I always liked this time of the year. It feels different now that I have Mina and Junsu though. 
                          
After a while, I needed a break from walking so we sat down at a bench to rest. I needed to use the restroom so Mina waited for me at the bench with Junsu. 
                          
When I was walking back from the restroom, I heard someone call my name. 
                          
"Jungkook?" 
                          
I turn my head to see a familiar face. It was my friend, Hobi. Not far behind him were my other friends with him. 
                          
"Oh, Hobi-hyung. What are you guys doing here?" I ask. 
                          
"We were just in the area and thought we'd check this place out." Hobi says. 
                          
"It's been a while. How have you been?" Our friend Namjoon asks. 
                          
"I've been good. Just...keeping myself busy." 
                          
"We were actually gonna go grab some lunch right now. Wanna come with?" Hobi asks me. 
                          
"Ah...I appreciate the offer, but I can't right now. I'm sorry." 
                          
I knew it's been a while since we all hung out together. I felt like I was growing apart from them. 
                          
"Oh. It's okay. Are you here by yourself?"
                          
"I'm actually here with my..." I hesitate for a moment, "my girlfriend." 
                          
"Ah. Well, alright. We'll leave you to it then. It was nice seeing you, Jungkook." 
                          
I continue heading back after they leave. I didn't see Mina at the bench from before. My eyes scan the area and I find them at a nearby play structure. Mina was pushing Junsu on the swings.
                          
I stand still for a moment, watching them from afar, watching Mina smile and Junsu giggling with her. Mina doesn't realize it, but she is such a good mom to Junsu. I feel like, to some extent, she takes care of me too, even if she doesn't have to. I try to do the same for her, but I don't think I'll ever match up to her. 
                          
She notices me standing in the distance and waves for me to come join them.
                          
"Looks like someone likes the swings." I say as I approach them. 
                          
Junsu makes his happy noises when he sees me. 
                          
"You ready to start walking again?" Mina asks, "We can rest some more if you need to." 
                          
"I'm good to get going again." I turn to Junsu, "Do you want me or Mina to carry you, Jun?" 
                          
He stares at me, confused.
                          
I take Mina's hand and hold it out in front of Junsu. I hold mine out too so each of our hands are in front of him. 
                          
"Which one, Jun?" 
                          
He looks at me before looking at our hands. He stares at both of them for a second and then reaches for one. He chose Mina's. 
                          
"Aw, okay. Go with Mina." 
                          
She lifts him out of the swing and carries him against her shoulder. 
                          
I take her hand as we start walking again. 
                          
"Jungkook." She calls my name. 
                          
"Hm?" 
                          
I turn my head to her and she catches me off guard with a kiss. That warm feeling rushed through my body again.
                          
"What was that for..?" I ask.
                          
"Nothing special. I just wanted to kiss you." She shrugs. 
                          
I laugh breathlessly, "Well, I can't complain about that."
                          
Things were changing for the three of us. 
                          
I think it's about time I embrace these changes.
