Iris waited for a year before she started taking classes at the local University.
Her family had been slightly disappointed at her choice, at first, until they realised she was right to do so. Her mental health had been fragile and while Iris hadn't made any more attempts, she hadn't felt ready to go out there and live her life the way most people her age did.
Attending the University classes seemed to make a shift in Iris' days. She now had something to be occupied with, besides playing the triangle and going to therapy sessions. The family was glad to see her improving her life. They wouldn't be surprised if she started bringing friends over in no time.
And one day, she did.
