Clay woke up in his human form, being cradled by a sleeping George. He tugged his head from under his arm and ran to his bed, and pretended to be asleep.
He heard George awake and he acted as if he too just woke up.
"Morning Clay!" He smiled. He looked around, the smile soon turning into a frown.
"Siopl?" He asked. Clay tilted his head in fake confusion. George shrugged his shoulders and and turned back to Clay.
"Oh, Siopl's just a wolf that's really sweet and adorable, you should see him!"
Clay became flustered at the way George unintentionally complimented him.
"He's white and really fluffy. He likes when I pet his ears. He's a really sweet baby," George cooed.
Clay looked down at his hands and back up at George. George was staring at his ears. Clay noticed this and scratched at them nervously.
"Are they soft too?!" He squealed. Clay laughed nervously and shook his head yes. George was surprised by Clay's small, but joyful laugh.
"I wanna touch 'em!" He cried. Clay abruptly stood up, laughing. He shook his head no. "No George!" He laughed.
George was in complete shock. Clay said words in another volume, rather then a small whisper.
"What?" Clay asked. He realized his voice and immediately sat down.
He pulled his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around his knees, and rested his forehead on his left knee.
George stood up and walked over to Clay. He sat next to Clay on the floor.
"You should meet Siopl," he said, changing the subject.
"Is he a snow worfe?" Clay asked suddenly, immediately covering his mouth and looking away.
"Yea actually..he is..how did you know?"
"I saw him," Clay lied. He felt bad for lying but he didn't want George to think he was creepy.
"Oh ok. Did you pet him?" George asked. Clay nodded slightly and George smiled.
"He's so soft and sweet," George commented. Clay felt a small pink hit his cheeks so he looked away.
"Clay?" George asked. Clay turned back to him, hoping the pink was gone.
"We should probably go find real food," George muttered. Clay nodded and helped George up on his legs.
"I know a shop near. I only have some money so only buy something big ok?"
Clay nodded and followed George to this shop. He gasped when they stopped at a large factory like building. Brick scanned all the walls, but it was painted over by a nice grey.
There was one large window that showed the shop part. George opened the door using the brown door nob and walked down the aisles, looking for something sustainable.
Clay was still in awe when he realized George was already inside, and he rushed to George's side.
"Goofy," George laughed. Clay scoffed and caught his eye on something.
It was a dagger, but it looked longer, and it was tinted green, his favorite color.
He noticed George checking out something, so he quickly ran and took the knife off the shelf and slid it in his hoodie.
George walked pass him, heading to the door, and Clay hurried to his side.
The two walked for what seemed like forever when George heard screaming.
