A/N: On god, this has been sitting in my drafts for months... maybe even a year. I've tried changing the title like 5 times now and it still says untitled :(
"I can't believe it, Mr. Mayor! You want to shut my ice rink down!?" Philippe cried out as he dramatically skated. André Bourgeois sighed in annoyance as he looked around the empty rink, already trying to picture how it would look as a gym.
"This is not your ice rink, Philippe. It belongs to the Parisians." he explained for the umpteenth time. "I'm not closing it down. I'll just be converting it into an indoor gym for my Chloe.. Uh! My city! Nobody comes to your ice rink for lessons anyway. You haven't had a single student sign up for this all year! Just look around you! The only person here is your son!"

You sipped away at your second boba of the day as you skipped down the street next to Marinette. You were still tuning out Adrien's profuse apologies as you skipped next to the kind girl carelessly. Marinette glanced at you from the corner of her eye, clenching her fist slight. She knew you were upset at Adrien for staining your skirt but for you to ignore his apologies seemed like overkill.
"Uh.. Y/n? Are you sure you can't forgive Adrien? He seems really sorry about your skirt." Marinette asked with a soft yet worried smiled. You looked the half asain girl in confusion
"Who's Adrien? I-" you asked only to be cut off by Adrien's loud groaning.
"Babe seriously!? You're gonna be like that!? I didn't know my shoes would scuff your skirt like that! I'm Sorry!" Adrien explained, jumping in front of you and placing his hands on your shoulders. He then forced you to look at him so you could see the sincerity in his expression and believe it in his tone as well. "I'm sorry. I'll buy you a new skirt if you want. Just name your price!"
"A new boyfriend is my price." you said coldly with deadpan eyes.
"Okkk.... Name a different price. Anything that doesn't involve you getting a new boyfriend, girlfriend, or partner in general." Adrien said, thinking about the options that you could potentially have.
"Girlfriend?" Marinette asked in slight confusion causing you to shrug.
"I don't discriminate. Personally, I dont really care about gender or sex. I just think if they treat me right, what's in their pants doesn't matter. Hearts not parts basically." you explained.
"Oh! I know the term for that! It's Pansexual, meaning they have an attraction to people regardless of gender identity. That's so cool dude!" Nino said with a wide smile. You couldn't help but to smile bashful and let out a sigh of relief. At least you got some support for once.
"Shit, sorry babe. I didn't mean to basically out you like that." Adrien said softly. But you shook your head, secretly glad that it wasn't something you'd have to hide.
"It's fine I guess. I'm just glad they didn't react poorly like.. Nevermind." You quickly stopped. You didn't feel like being sad right now. Alya, sensing the shift in your mood, nudges Marinette and points to the ice ring.
"Oh, uh we're here! This is the local ice ring." Marinette blurted out. You looked up at the large building with eyes of amazement as you excitedly followed Marinette inside. Once inside you couldn't help but feel a little chilly.
"Where do we get skates from? Were we supposed to bring our own?" You asked as you looked around.
"The booth over there should have skates we can grab. Normally I just bring my own skates but since we didn't plan this out we can just borrow some." Alya said with a slight shrug. You nodded and began walking over to the booth. Inside was a handsome boy, that was most likely around your age, texting on his phone.
"Hello?" You said in a kind and soft voice. The young boy glanced up from his phone and then looked back down, and then looked back up, this time more flustered and in shock.
"H-hey! I'm Daimen Candeloro! I've never seen you before." he said as he put his phone down. He had a korean two block fade that suited his black hair well and the most vibrant blue-green eyes you've ever seen. He was handsome, that much you couldn't deny, and looked like he belonged to a punk boy band. His voice was smooth --not too deep, not too high-- and he had warm beige skin. He had in 12mm gauge piercings along with a few other piercings going up his right ear. And wore a slimming black long sleeve shirt with grey sweatpants.
"Um.. I'm kind of new here. My name's Y/n Hanifa." you said with a soft smile. Adrien looked between the two and made his presence known by pulling you behind him was a strained smile.
"We need skates." he said firmly. Damien didn't say anything at first, instead he winked at you much to Adrien's annoyance and stood up to where the skates were.
"Students skate free so it's all free of charge. I'll just need you to exchange your shoes and sign a few waivers." Damien said nonchalantly as he gathered some locker keys and papers. "What is everyone's shoe size?"
Adrien said his and your size, his lips pressed in a firm line due to his possessive nature. He trusted you, that much was obvious since you knew his secret, but that didn't mean he liked people taking advantage of your oblivious nature. Once everyone gave their shoe size you all moved to sit down while signing the waivers as Damien got everything together --the waiver needed to be signed before relieving the skates. Adrien sat next to you, and next to him on the other side was Marinette.
"Wait. Y/n, I thought you said you didn't know how to skate?" Marinette said suddenly as she leaned forward to see you.
"I don't. But you did say you'd help me. Remember?" You said with a smile.
"I could tea-" Adrien exclaimed only to be cut off by you.
"No." you said with a straight face, smile gone from your lips. Adrien groaned and leaned back into his seat, slouching in the process. You watch as Adrien continued to be overdramatic with a roll of your eyes, knowing he'll be just fine. Then you looked at Marinette with an expecting smile.
"Well I did say I'd help.. I'm not the best at staking though so we'll probably fall a couple of times." Marinette said bashfully, rubbing the back of her neck as she held the waiver in her other hand. You stood up with a jump, a wide smile on your face as you moved to stand in front of Marinette, holding your hand out to her.
"Then we'll fall together." You said with a smile. It was honestly a scene straight from a romance. Your smile was warm and kind, your eyes soft and bright, and with your hand held out to her, Marinette couldn't help but feel like you were asking if she'd run away with you. Her eyes widened immediately as a huge blush spread across her face. An involuntary squeal escaped her as she cover her face in embarrassment, causing you to look at her confusion while everyone else looked at you. Their faces were similar to Marinette's. "Eh? What's wrong Marinette?"
"Dude.." Nino mumbled with his hand covering his lower face. Alya nodded in agreement, not saying a word.
"Y/n. You can't keep doing that to people.. we talked about this." Adrien said with a soft chuckle and a blush. Your head turned to look at your boyfriend, face full of confusion at the flustered faces around you.
"But I didn't do anything! I swear! I was just being nice!" You exclaimed in defense.
"Dude.." Nino said again, this time both hands covering his face as he held back laughter. Once he calmed down Nino looked at the flustered yet proud Adrien. "Is she always like that?"
"Yep." Adrien said with a nod. Marinette was still trying to calm herself and bring her face back to its normal shade as you looked between your new friend group in confusion. You had no idea just how charming you were.
