*Ashton's POV*
Michael had parted ways with us at the airport; he said he needed to see his mum, which I totally understood. He just got a taxi, nothing special.
The rest of us however, made our way to Evangeline's house to meet her family that she was so insistent on us meeting.
I watched as Evangeline knocked gracefully on the door while Calum left soft kisses along her jawline. The door swung open to reveal a young girl who looked kinda like Evangeline. Her hair was tied back out of her face with a few loose ends hanging out and a pair of nerdy looking glasses.
"Uh, hi." She smiled, although, she didn't seem to be very happy.
"Skye!" Evangeline cheered, leaving Calum's grasp and hugging the girl, Skye, tightly. "It's so good to see you."
Skye didn't reply and instead turned away from the door allowing Evangeline, Calum and I to enter the house.
We all headed down the hallway, Skye turned and proceeded into another room while Calum and I followed Evangeline's path through the house. As I passed Skye's exit I realised it was a small laundry. She was attempting to tie an apron around her waist but appeared to be having trouble.
I stepped through the small doorway and outstretched my hands.
"Here, let me help you."
"No." She shut me down. "No thank you, Ashton."
"I don't believe we've met." I smiled, unsure of how she knew my name.
"That's because we haven't." She explained in a bit of a duh tone.
"Then, how do you know who I am?" I chuckled lightly.
"Oh, I've seen your face on a poster and I recognised you. I was curious as to why she put you guys on her wall, anyway, I asked and my questions were answered. Naturally my questions involved your names. You're in a band right?" she asked, in a chirpy voice.
"Yes, I am." I answered back. I watched a smile spread further across her face when she finally managed to tie her apron.
"That's really cool. I wish I was still in a band." Her smile faded slightly.
"You were in a band?" I asked out of pure curiosity.
"Yeah." She answered looking down at the ground. "I um, I better go. You should get back to Evangeline. Her highness awaits." During her last sentence she took a dramatic bow and I saw a little eye rolling action too. Before I had a chance to process what she had said, she was gone. I left the small room and cautiously continued back down the hallway, poking my head into each room if the door was open, or listening on the door for any speech when they were closed.
It felt like hours I'd been stalking the house, although it had only been a matter of seconds when found them. They were sitting on the couch together simply watching the TV.
"So, you met my sister then." Evangeline asked; I hadn't even stepped into the room yet.
"Your sister?" I asked, slightly confused.
"Yes, my sister. Skye." She replied in a rude tone, which I noticed as obvious, but Calum didn't pick up on it.
"Oh, Skye." Evangeline seemed to have a look of annoyance scribbled all over her face.
"Yeah, she let us inside." I answered carefully. Although I didn't know her very well, she seemed to have an off putting feeling about her, I didn't like it. Evangeline rolled her eyes at me in annoyance. Wait, what did I do?
