April 21

The past few days have consisted of Harry being really busy with work, typically leaving before I even woke up and coming home late at night just before I went to sleep.

We haven't not slept in the same bed, whether he's dropping me off and picking me up from work, taking me back to my apartment and then accidentally having a drink so he couldn't drive home, or saying he was too tired to drive home. I wasn't complaining though, I could hardly sleep when he wasn't next to me.

I haven't really gotten to spend much time with him. I still had no idea what his job was, but I could tell it took a bit of a toll on him. He would get back from work and just collapse instantly. Only one night I was lucky enough to have him awake long enough to talk to him while we were cuddled up in his bed. But the other nights I was sure he was asleep before he even hit the pillow.

But as much as I loved laying with him, I missed actually getting to see him properly during the day, which is why I was excited for tonight.

He was back from work earlier tonight, and we were spending it together.

Walking beside him, his fingers intertwined with my own, we walked along the damp street at a late hour of the night. Street lights reflect off the puddles of water on the ground, the smell of rain surrounded us.

We were going to the club tonight, I wasn't working, but I thought it would be nice to spend some time with him there. We could have a few drinks and have some fun, Harry had been stressed over work recently, I could tell.

I did regret my outfit of choice for tonight, I really underestimated how cold it was going to be. I had picked out a satin blue dress to wear, it was comfortable and I felt pretty in it, mainly because Harry had told me at least five hundred times in the past hour that I looked amazing in this dress.

The wind was cold, in the type of way that it started to sting my skin, the tips of my fingers were almost going numb. The only warmth I had was Harry's hand, he was always so warm.

I held his hand in both of mine, against my stomach, warming up my other hand too.

"You never learn, do you?" Harry spoke, his voice a warm blanket in itself.

I looked up at him walking beside me, "I never learn what?"

"You're freezing" He squeezed my hands, ice cold compared to how warm he somehow was in the cold weather.

Harry stopped walking for a moment, tugging on my hand to get me to stop walking too. We were almost at the club. I could see the door from where we were standing. I stared at him wondering why he had made us stop walking.

But before I could ask, my questions were answered when he dropped my hand, and instead, began to take off the black blazer he was wearing on top of the black dress shirt.

"Im fine" I shook my head, trying to stop him from taking off his blazer for me. He was always doing that for me whenever I was cold. He didn't stop though and slipped the jacket off his arms, "Harry seriously"

"You feel like you're about to freeze to death" he held the jacket out to me, tilting his head to the side. He reached forward and grabbed my hand, squeezing once, "I can feel you shaking"

"I'm fine"

He only shook his head at me and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to my forehead at the same time as he wrapped his blazer around me, still warm from when he had just been wearing it, "Just shut up and wear my blazer"

I rolled my eyes playfully at him, knowing he was going to win either way and despite the fact I didn't want to wear his blazer, I was so grateful for it, because I genuinely had felt like I was about to freeze to death. I slipped my arms through the holes but kept my hands up in the sleeves, warming my hands a bit more.
