You woke up in a dark room, the walls were tall iron bars, the floor cold and unwelcoming.
A tall shadow loomed over you, almost laughing.
"Y/n, do you know what day it is?" The cold voice said.
"It's..."
"As I expected."
Looking down at your bruised legs you felt the feeling of tears rise to your eyes but used your little strength to push them away.
"How long have I been here?" you said.
"A week."
Feeling your heart sink, you looked back up, finally recognising the figure in front of you as All for One.
"You've really let me down, you know that? After everything I put you through, you still weren't stronger than your emotions. It's disgusting."
"What do you mean?" you responded.
"What do I mean? I mean that you chose your new friends over something that I've been planning for years." He spat, "And even after all that, I still got one."
"What?" your voice shook.
"Look to your left." he said, leaning against the wall.
You really didn't want to, you were still so disoriented that you hadn't properly noticed your surroundings. You were out for so long that anything could of happened, and to be honest you didn't even want to know. Any single one of your old class mates could be in the cell next to you and that thought killed you. But what was even worse was the thought of it being Bakugou.
But of course, it was him. Of course.
He laid there, unconscious, asleep or dead. And finally, you let your tears out, reaching for the bars that separated you two. You cried out his name, begging for him to wake up.
Isn't it kind of ironic? The last time you saw him in a cell you simply watched, but now it felt worse than anything. You wished that you never agreed to be any part of this, you wished that somehow you could go back in time and died the same night your parents did.
"Katsuki!" you begged the world.
And as if the world finally heard you, you saw his eyes flutter open. You watched his movements, the way he sat up and adjusted to his surroundings. But most of all, the way he looked at you without any familiarity. But of course, you wiped yourself from his memory, what did you expect?
"Y/n." All for One said, "I will give you your last lesson tonight. I hope you learn from it."
Feeling your head shake slightly, you whispered 'no' a few times, watching as the broad man walked over to the blondes cage.
"This is the one that manipulated you, right?" his voice started to grow louder.
"No, no, he would never-"
"Don't lie-"
"You were the one who manipulated me!" you screamed back at the man. Letting all the power he once held over you dissolve away.
Bakugou's eyes switched from you to All for one frantically, more than confused about the conversation you were having.
"You used your quirk on him?" All for one said, now understanding why the blonde was so unfamiliar with you. "You know what, I'm going to kill him right in front of you." he shouted, opening the cage.
Your hands slammed against the bars that separated you from Bakugou, your eyes holding so much emotion it was almost too much to bare. The blonde was so confused as to why you were so emotional, after all, he had never met you.
"Katsuki! Please!" you cried again.
His eyebrows were furrowed, "How do you know my name?"
But before you could even reply, All for One had opened the cell and was approaching Bakugou.
"No! Please! Kill me, not him!"
The tall man looked over to you, "After everything I've given to you, you would give your life up that easily?"
"Please." was all you could say.
"You really are pathetic. Just like your parents."
Bakugou could have sworn he felt something when he heard those words, as if you weren't so unfamiliar as you were a few moments ago.
"Just..don't hurt him. Let him go and I'll do whatever you want." you couldn't even bare to look up anymore.
Your eyes were still stuck on the ground when you heard the slam of a cage door and footsteps approaching you.
Tears left your eyes, and you finally looked up to see all for one standing over you with his hand out.
Looking to your left, your eyes met with concerned red ones. But you were pulled out of your thoughts when a sharp grip pulled you up. His hands were tight against your skin, forming bruises. However, your eyes never left Bakugou's. He was in shock of everything that he had woken up to see. All he knew was that there was a familiarity in your eyes that he scared of. Scared that he would never understand.
Struggling in all for ones arms, you had no idea what to do. You didn't know if he would simply just kill you or put you through another many years of torture.
But at least for the last few moments, you got to see Katsuki, the best thing the world ever gave to you.
The point of view he saw you from was a sight of horror. The way your tears rolled down your cheeks, the way you tried your hardest to push away all for one, most of all the way you looked at him with two crystal butterflies in your eyes. The ones he recognised, the ones you didn't know he could see too. And for a second you could of sworn you heard him whisper your name.
And it was then that it all came back to him. Everything about you, the smile he loved so much, your laughter that he occasionally go to hear, the little things that he always seemed to noticed. The feelings he had for you, strong enough to overpower your quirk. He didn't want to forget you, no, he would have never let himself forget you.
"When I'm done with you, I will break him just like a broke you."
The man's words were like toxic in your ears.
Those were the last words you heard before you shut your eyes, accepting the fact that you would never get a good ending in this world.
Hearing a deep cry of pain, your eyes shot open to see the iron bars around you slightly melted and all for one on the ground.
Not even realising Bakugou was right next you now, you were looking down at your hands before the boy carefully cupped your face, his hands still steaming slightly.
"Y/n." he said under his breath.
