SCHOOL SEEMED to be throwing everything at you all at once, making it feel like you were drowning in a sea of endless assignments. You sighed heavily as you scribbled won yet another calculus problem - number 30 out of an endless list of problems due by midnight. "Can school get any more stressful?" You wondered with a huff, your brows furrowed as you tried to concentrate.

As if reading your thoughts, your boyfriend Brandon stepped into the room, a steaming cup of coffee in his hand. His smile was warm and inviting, and his voice carried a soothing tone as he called out, "Hey, babe." He glanced around the room, taking in your frustrated expression and the mess of papers scattered around your desk.

You looked up at him with a smile that was equal parts of grateful and skeptical. "You didn't get that for me, did you?" You teased, gesturing at the coffee in his hand. Brandon laughed, his eyes dancing with amusement. "I might have," he replied with a grin. "But don't worry, I got myself one too."

Brandon's gaze lingered on you, his expression softening with concern. "Do you want some company?" He asked.

You nodded gratefully, pulling out the chair next to yours. "That'd be nice," you said, and his smile broadened. He slid into the seat next to you.

Brandon peered over at the worksheets strewn across your desk. "College math, huh? Sounds fun," he jokes, but his voice portrayed a sympathetic understanding.

You let out a sigh of resignation as you answered, "Five hours ago, but that was just to use the bathroom.

Brandon's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Well that's not good," he said, shaking his head. "You're coming with me for a walk, then. Right now."

You let out a groan of protest, but you couldn't help but smile at his stubborn insistence. "Fine," you said, pushing yourself up from your chair and grabbing your coat. "But only because you asked so nicely."
