TRIGGER WARNING: BLOOD AND WOUND DETAILS IN THIS CHAPTER
Omega, Wrecker, and Echo wouldn't leave each other after the previous day. They were all who remained of their squad.
Wrecker felt like he let his brothers down. He wasn't there to save Crosshair, he wasn't there to protect Hunter, he wasn't there to help Tech.
Echo felt like he lost Fives all over again.
Omega felt nothing but grief and agony.
"I could've stopped it," she choked.
"No, you couldn't have," Echo tried to comfort the child, but....
"Yes, I could have! I had a vision on the way there, and I told Tech! What happened to Tech happened in my vision! The fire, the explosion, the pain, everything! The only thing I didn't know was who it was!"
No one knew what to do after that.
Ahsoka lowered her head, trying to think what she could have done to help Tech. But her thoughts just kept drifting back to that 'Inquisitor'. That feeling....that presence....she knew it, but couldn't place it. If only Ahsoka could have seen her face, maybe she would know.
Rex tried to comfort the Batch, but Ahsoka had pulled him away. They needed their time together.

Tech gave a small groan, and pushed himself up. At least, he tried.
Gasping in pain, he clutched his right arm. He opened his eyes, but had to keep blinking. He was in a cell with a very, very bright light. The area around his eyes felt strange—like air was softly pressing on his skin. His vision was a blurry white. Gently letting go of his injured arm, he felt for his goggles—which were not there.
"Kriff...." he thought. Not only did his goggles help him identify things, but they were also to clear up his vision.
And Crosshair knew that.
"THAT NERF HERDER—"
Again, Tech tried to push himself up, only to collapse again. Now he held his shattered arm closer than last time. Tears of pain slowly started to fall. Inspecting his arm through touch, he found that it was dislocated, shattered from shoulder to wrist, and that his wrist was badly fractured.
"Ah, kriff. Kriff kriff kriff."
Things got worse when the door to the cell opened.
"Good to see you alive and awake, Tech," Crosshair's snake-like voice sounded from the dark.
"I can say the same to you," Tech responded with thick sarcasm.
"Now, now. When did things get so tense between us, brother?"
"Maybe when you killed Hunter," Tech spat.
"He was asking for it. Now, I'm going to ask nicely. Where is the Rebel base?"
"You son of a bantha. As if I'd tell."
"Tell me, and maybe I can let you go."
"So you strip me from my brothers and sister, my armor, and my goggles, turn the light here on the brightest mode, and you expect me to tell you where the base is?"
Crosshair sighed. "I was trying to be nice. But it appears you will not cooperate. I will have to force it out of you."
"Do what you want—I won't tell you anything."
"Very well." Crosshair then grabbed Tech by his neck and banged him against a wall of the cell. The Rebel Clone's vision went a bright white, and slowly started to regain focus.
"Where. Is. The. Rebel. Base?" Crosshair hissed.
"What happened to you? You used to be my brother....my closest friend."
"I was weak and a fool. I should have just let the reg cadets do what they did. I should have just let the Kaminoans decommission you."
Tech closed his eyes, trying to get the memories out of his head. More pain then spread through out his body. His vision went red. Crosshair twisted the knife that he had stabbed between Tech's ribcage, making the younger Clone gasp for air.
"I'll give you one more chance. Where is the Rebel base?"
"You—know—the—answer—" Tech managed to gasp out.
That was the last thing—along with Crosshair's angry yell—Tech remembered.
Crosshair let the other Clone's body drop to the floor, lifeless, cold, and smeared with blood. The sticky red liquid slowly flowed from his neck.
The knife slash had gone deep—not quite to Tech's vocal cords—but close enough.
A part of Crosshair wanted to kill himself. He looked at the bloody knife in his hand. "What have I done?"
Sooooo
Yeah.
That happened.😅
I bet you all hate me now....
BUT THINGS *Muffles voice*
HehehDoes anyone want to put out their theories? I'd love to hear them!
Until next time....
