WINNIE HAD MADE HER WAY into the empty movie theater with a soda in her hand. Although she was still confused as to why she was supposed to be there, it was the exact location Nick had texted her to go. So she did.
While the previews continued to play, Winnie made her way to the middle of the theater and sat, believing it was the best place to be.
Especially since no one else was around.
Her eyes curiously watched the trailers and commercials as she waited for the movie to begin. However, after a split moment, the room and screen had went dark.
And then a new video popped on the screen.
"Hey Winnie" She heard, glancing up towards the screen to see Nick's face, "It's uh... Nick... You obviously knew that." The video continued on, causing Winnie to let out a short laugh, "This is all new to me, so bare with me. If you could, could you look under your seat? I'll wait."
Winnie cocked her head at his words but followed his instructions, glancing under her seat. She furrowed her brows as she picked up a screw from the flooring.
"I know this may sound weird and I am sorry if your desk ends up collapsing because of this," The video started again, "But that is actually the screw you had given me the day we had first kissed. Yeah, I had taken it and honestly.. I carry it around with me everywhere." Nick explained, while Winnie eye'd the screw. "Now, I know you might be wondering why you're here." He said, causing Winnie too look back up at the screen. "And it's to ask you a question."
As the words were being said, Winnie had now noticed Nick entering the room, looking up at her with an anxious smile.
And when he asked the question, Winnie couldn't help but widely grin, answering immediately,
