Summer school had started. There was nothing Cindy could do. Her mum had dropped her off and had left about ten minutes ago now. Their teacher, Miss Brown welcomed them, greeting them at the door. "Welcome everyone, welcome to Summer school", Miss Brown told them. Cindy really didn't like her. She hated animals and she hated wildlife. In fact Miss Brown wished there wasn't any wildlife all together. Miss brown wasn't Cindy's favourite person, but she did let them stay outside at break for a long time, so that Cindy didn't mind. " Find a seat, find a seat everyone", she asked them.
Cindy sat down at the back of the classroom. All the other classrooms were filled with bright colours, pictures of animals and rewards, but not this room. This room was dark and colourless. Cindy was joined by two other students of her age. Students that she often saw at school during her day, but she had never really spoken to them.
Cindy got out her wolf notebook and wolf pencil case. The wolf on her notebook as she looked at it, oddly looked like the wolf she had seen this morning. It moved and seemed to be staring at her. Everyone sat down as Miss brown started to chalk the date on the blackboard.
" Little wolf", she whispered, " Little wolf", the boy two chairs away repeated and laughed. " who's that", he asked, " Nobody", Cindy said. His name was Randy, he was here for failing most of his tests and always ending up at the head teachers office. He could pretend, but Cindy knew his secret. She knew he in fact had more wolf stuff than she had. He ignored her, turning back around and facing the front again.
" Alright then everyone, let's start by introducing yourselves", Miss Brown asked. The girl with blond hair, her phone in her hand and lots of makeup on went first. " I'm Abigail, you can call me Abi and I'm going to ace this class", she sounded very confident. Then Randy went next, Cindy let him and she was glad she'd be last. " I'm Randy, I like games and stuff". He didn't say anything else as he put his feet up 0n the desk in front of him. Miss brown cleared her throat and tapped his shoes with her pencil, he put his feet down.
Cindy sat up in her chair, she had been organised everything on her desk and had forgotten she was next to introduce herself, " and you dear", Miss Brown said, " I'm Cindy, we've just moved from California", Cindy told them, looking at Miss Brown. Cindy couldn't stop thinking about the wolf she had seen, so when she looked at Miss Browns desk and saw the Little Wolf, she blinked. " What you staring at", Randy said, trying to see for himself. Cindy knew he had seen her staring, she could see the Little Wolf. He looked like he was waiting for her, as she watched it go through the classroom door, straight through it. This was odd because the door was closed.
" Randy, do you have your book ready", Miss Brown had asked him as he mumbled to himself, following the teachers instruction. Cindy stuck her hand in the air, but Miss Brown hadn't seen her. " How am i going to get out", Cindy muttered to herself. Randy wasn't listening, he was too busy eating his chocolate bar that he had, hidden under his desk. He waved the wrapper at Cindy and somehow he had made it into an airplane in seconds. He threw it over to Cindy, who didn't say a word. Miss Brown turned around, quick on her feet.
Staring at Cindy she pointed to the door and shouted, "head teachers office, now". Cindy sighed, seeing the airplane had hit Miss Browns shoulder, followed by a few paper rocks that Randy had made. Unfortunately for Cindy, Randy was pretending all of a sudden to write the date and Cindy had just ripped a page out of her book, scrunching it up. But it wasn't her, but she didn't care, she needed a way out of the classroom and now she had it.
Entering the schools empty corridor, Cindy shut the classroom door behind her. Everyone had stared at her as she had stood up to leave, as she threw her bag onto her shoulder, storming out. " Little Wolf", she began to whisper, sticking close to the lockers. " Little Wolf, are you out here", she whispered again.
"Where are you", she muttered to herself, turning into the next empty corridor.Cindy wondered if the Wolf was real, or just a part of her imagination. She hoped it wasn't real or she would surely get into big trouble when her mum found out. Not only that, but animals were not allowed in school, especially not Wolves.
