SEVERAL WEEKS HAVE PASSED WE WERE INFORMED THREE WEEKS AGO THAT WE ARE GETTING AN OLDER BOY THAT WHAT WE EXPECTED. THE BOY WHO WAS AN INFANT THE MOTHER DECIDED TO KEEP. WE COULDN'T BLAME HER FOR WANTING TO KEEP HER SON. WE JUST HOPE SHE WAS CARING MOTHER FOR HER BABY BOY.
CAT AND I were at the airport waiting for our son to arrive. He already has a name and we decided to let him keep his name. We didn't want to traumatize Jake by changing his first name. . Cat and I were nervous but our adoption worker said he was eager to finally meet us here and not in the foster home we went to visit him twice in Spain. He already knew his middle and last name would he ours. Jake Gomez O'Reilly was eager to meet the rest of our family. He photos of everyone with their names on back of them. Avery took photos of everyone in family groups so he knew who was with whom in their families. This was all put in a photo album for him by Cat.
                          
He ran up to Olivia and she picked him up and had her on her hip and picked up some of his luggage while I got the rest.
We already knew he was going to be mama's boy after he asked me about my penis when he noticed one day when we went to Spain and it was cold .

                          
Our adoption worker took our first family portrait. She encouraged us to call if problems or anything arose.
We already forewarned our family not to ask to take photos at this time. HE WAS CAMERA SHY..WE TOLD THEM DOWN THE ROAD WE WOULD DO PHOTOS.  CAT ALSO EXPLAINED HE WAS SCARED OF ME A A LITTLE FOR HAVING A PENIS. THUS ALLOWING MY MOTHER LISA AND MY STEP MOTHER,  JOEY THAT HE PROBABLY WILL BE MORE COMFORTABLE AROUND FEMALES WHO WERE NOT INTERSEX. 
                          
We arrived at our home.
Why so many cars mama Olivia? These vehicles belong to your family that live in Italy. You have two cousins that live in New York for now but we hope they will move here after they finish college. You mean Julianne and Stephanie.  Yes.

Avery took all the photos for me.  Mandi a chef and expecting a baby boy.  Cousins Jenna - chef and deli owner ,wife of cousin Deb a chef too. Nani Rizzoli works there as does Nana Izzy as a baker.  Uncle Frankie a cop and auntie Laura a ...a..as accountant I think..yes. uncle Tommy playboy but good guy and dentist.  Oops sorry uncle Tommy.  It's okay. Uncle Frosty a cop who is a Sargeant who works with uncle Frankie and auntie Jane.   Uncle Maxwell who is dating Nana Esmi..but don't get that uncle with Nana...not good.
Everyone was quiet.  He was right so no one said anything.

We entered the house that use to be mine that Olivia added onto. This was her new family room that my wife made a sculpture of a bike on the wall. Kiki knocks on my door. 
May we come in? Sure Nanas Kiki and Lisa.  Well we noticed you left so we wanted to play with you or read to you or we can talk. You decide. 
I do have some questions but not sure you will like them. Jake go ahead..it will be okay. Nana you have a penis like me and mom and Nana Joey. Yes.I don't get how a woman can have those and a penis.  Oh I see. SOME PEOPLF HAVE BREASTS THAT WILL GROW LIKE OURS AND A PENIS.  YOU HAVE BREASTS TOO BUT THEY LOOK DIFFERENT AND WONT GET LIKE OURS..AT TIMES A BABY IS BORN WITH PENIS TOO AND IS A FEMALE. The parents get to choose if they want their baby to be a boy or girl and javra doctor do the surgery..others let their child decide when they get older and if the child no longer wants the penis and the parents can afford the surgery. They will have the penis removed.  Oh okay . Can you get a lady pregnant? Yes that is how you have Olivia as your mom.  Okay than why doesn't Nana Izzy have kids. Wheww.

Kiki and I got on his bed and and acted the zoo animals out. He eventually Nodded off on the second book as he asked us to help him change into his pajamas. We hugged him and kissed him goodnight at his request..
My daughter and Cathy were by the doorway listening to us read to him his last book before he asked help to change help him and  asked for hugs ang kisses.

My mama and step mom left the room and we went inside his bedroom. for awhile. 
Everyone had left eventually after we told them he went to sleep and Lisa  answered his questions about a penis and if someone one is intersex can get a woman pregnant. He even thanked me and asked for us both to hug and kiss him after we change him at his request for bed.
