AFTER MY SHORT TRIP TO THE HOSPITAL, JASON HELPED ME GET ME SET BACK UP AT HOME. He had to go back to New York for business again. I always hate when he leaves.
Emily found out the woman at the Two Crows Diner was Mona. Not surprised there.
She cornered Mona after Hanna's party and demanded answers. She had quite a bit to say. Mona called Charlotte from the diner and waited for her for two hours. She never showed up.
"Mona basically told you she was ready to kill Charlotte." Aria spoke, trying to understand the information Emily was telling us.
"Yeah, but she didn't because Charlotte never showed up." Emily replied. This is something new I've heard.
"Not guilty because the victim didn't show? That's setting the bar pretty low, Em." I said back.
"Innocent, guilty, whatever, she admits to being the brunette on the phone. Let's tell Tanner this so I can get off the suspect list." Aria spoke up.
"So, do you think she's lying?" Emily asked.
"Pick a topic." Spencer let out. Mona lies about everything. If she's lying is a loaded question.
"About Charlotte not meeting her that night." Emily clarified.
"That's probably true. It's too easy to check." Spencer replied.
"While you guys are discussing this, let's remember that I was the one in a line-up, alright? It's really unflattering lighting there." Aria muttered.
"So what, do we wait?" Spencer asked.
"For what? Whoever this is wants us to hand over Charlotte's killer before election night and they're getting impatient." Emily rambled.
"Yeah? Well does anybody want to put some ointment on that impatience?" I asked and held up my bandaged arm. I'm still in quite a bit of pain from the fire-show.
"Look, a free-range Mona is more likely to lead us someplace, especially if she thinks we believe her." Spencer said.
"So, we believe her?" Emily clarified.
"We believe her enough." Spencer affirmed.
I just hope this weirdo doesn't have any more circus tricks up their sleeve.

All of the girls and I were sitting at The Brew. Alison is in the hospital. She sent us a selfie from her bed. Apparently, she tripped and fell down the stairs and gave herself a concussion.
Jason is going to look into it more. Well, as much as he could from New York. Something a bit fishy to me is whenever he calls Elliot, his call gets denied. He never picks up. I don't like that.
Spencer showed the picture of Ali to us. "She says it was an accident."
"Do we believe that?" Emily asked. I don't know anymore.
