WINNIE HAD TRIED TO RESPOND to Nick, heck, she wanted too. However, he didn't give her the chance before widening his eyes at his own admitting words and moonwalked right out of her room.
Winnie had watched from her bed as Nick had left her room, in a quite unusual way might she add, and heard his door slam shut along with a loud groan. Despite that, Winnie had smiled widely at his words, still having one question linger in her mind.
What about Caroline?

AS THE NEXT MORNING APPROACHED Winnie had stayed in her room, anxious to leave and face Nick. Although she had reciprocated the feelings he had for her, she was still unsure how to approach the Caroline situation. One thing for sure was that Winnie did not want to watch Nick moonwalk away from her again.
As Winnie finally decided to leave her room, she had almost run into Schmidt and Winston holding random boxes of clothes and miscellaneous items in their arms. As the boys had spotted her, their faces beamed bright, dropping the boxes to squeeze the girl into a tight hug.
"It's too early for this" Winnie mumbled, feeling her face being smushed against Winston's chest. "Especially for random ones," She mused, pushing the two away, "What are you guys even doing?"

"Why?"
"He always thought that if he left his stuff there, then they were never really broken up," He further explained, "Or that if he did take his stuff, it meant there was no chance for them to actually get back together."
"So he took his stuff because-"
"He found someone better for him" Schmidt cut her off, smiling at his words, "Nick had actually moved on from the girl he had been in love with for like, what?"
"Three years," Winston answered for him.
"He did?"
"Yeah!" Winston enthusiastically said, bending down and digging through one of the boxes he was carrying in. Eventually, he pulled out an old butnice, plain hoodie. "Like this," He gestured to it, "This was his favorite hoodie, something that he wore every day. This is the first time I've seen it in over a year because he had given it to Caroline, even told her to keep it when they broke up." He explained, holding it up for Winnie, "Getting this back from Caroline is something huge."
"So," Winnie started, looking around the apartment, "If you guys are carrying all of his stuff in... where is he?"
At her words, Schmidt and Winston gave each other a look before eyeing Winnie curiously,
